Ignorant?
Wage and Price Controls didn't work for either Nixon,Ford,Or Carter.
Community Reinvestment Act---I can show you placed where it was
a complete failure---
Carter's foreign policy with the exception of Camp David Peace
Accord-was to put it politely a flop.
Reagan when he first came in increased production by speeding up
the faze in of Carter's long delayed emphasis on encouraging
new exploration
I never said wage and price controls WORKED, only that Nixon originated them and Carter wasn't using them. I assume you can't contradict that? Phase 4 ended in 1973 according to what I'm reading, can you prove me wrong?

CRA helped reduce redlining in the black community, and so was hardly a "complete failure."

Carter's Camp David agreement was a HUGE success, his other foreign policy wasn't as good but not particularly terrible. At least, you can't seem to name any outstanding failures.

No idea what your last comment about Reagan "speeding up production" is supposed to mean? Is that about oil? Do you have a source for it?

Now repeat after me....what I actually was referring to was the
fact that Reagan Increased the supply supply supply of oil by
fazing in----at a much faster pace----Carter's long delayed
policy that's policy of getting oil from more exploration
Let's Not forget that Gore Gore tried to get credit for
creating the Computer and let's not forget his 70000 dollar car
Mr. Gore never said he "created the computer" OR "invented the internet." He said he "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet." And yes he did take such initiatives, passing legislation which helped make the modern internet possible.

No idea what the car reference means, or why you think a $70,000 car is even unusual since you can pay many times that much for one.

Foreign policy not a failure under Carter Here a but a few
examples you might have missed -- Carter's Reaction Reaction to
the Russian invasion of Afganistan--In Iran Iran Iran he brought
back the Ayolltoah Komenie which opened up the floodgates in
that region for which we are still paying--When Clinton sent
Carter (the only time I felt sorry for Clinton)to North Korea he gave the
North Koreans Among other things Twoooo Reactors. One they
delivered on the other was cancelled by Bush.
The community Reinvestment Act signed by Carter in places like
a small area that was in the area around NE 79th Street and 2nd Ave. was a failure in their repeated attempts to rebuild. Fast
forward to today the easy credit (Barney Frank up until the
time he left office) was still screaming for the same kind of
easy credit that caused the trouble in the First place.
It would take a book to list all the other failures of
Carter.

gas lines had decreased mainly because under Carter we had to buy
gas gas gas on odd and even days remember that?
the whole point of increasing the supply of oil---one of the first
among others big debates --- was how to lower the price..Reagan's
policy won out.
The Increased Military spending under Reagan--which I agree went
to high-- was due to Carter's failure until the end of his term;
to keep up the military's readiness (remember Iran?)--- Reagan's
economy (you must have been asleep) was one of the main reasons
he won reelection.
By the way-what about Gore's claim that he invented the Inter-net?
It was Reagan's military that convoyed the ships through the
Persain Gulf and Won Desert Storm.
So you buy the oil industry propaganda that the long lines were because there was a shortage due to government regulations and not to collusion to raise prices and make lots more money. Reagan's policy became law and we are still paying much higher prices. They won't go down until competition is allowed. Without regulation you can't have a free market and because of a lack of regulations, we don't have a free market.

Yes, Reagan spent way too much, giving billions to the military industrial complex, and they are still getting billions regularly because no one is willing to stop the Reagan madness. They don't even know what to do with all that money.

As to the economy, we still have not recovered from Reaganomics. Since Reagan took office, the standard of living for the middle class has been falling. Since FDR it had been rising, but Reagan turned that around. While the economy of the US has been increasing at a good level, more than 100% of the growth has gone to the very very rich, and none of it to those who do the work. The people have been working harder and smarter, and longer for less and less. Can you explain why you think that is such a great thing?

As to Iran, I will never forget that Reagan negotiated with Iran to keep the hostages till after he was elected and he would give them money and arms. Reagan kept his promise and he should have been put in jail. Just think how much better the economy would be if Reagan was forced to obey the law.

The internet was created with government funding. Someone had to authorize that funding. Who do you think it was?

Carter's economy had 10% mortgage ratesfor homes, over 22% for
credit cards. Are the amount of Gov. regulations greater then or now
It was OPEC in collusion with the oil companies that created the
gas shortage I lived through it where were you?
Reagan's economy among other things was one of the chief reasons (

(I lived through it) that he was reelected check the census
figures to see how many new new Middle-Class People (I was one )
Carter's policy of lowering the gas prices was to be done over
a much much much longer period of time than Reagan's Reagan's policy Of lowering the price through more exploration ---
was put on a fast track- Which proved to be correct.

It was Carter who first agreed to release the contracts of arms
to Iran.

Have you ever heard of Obama's Jobless recovery. It was the
Democrats like Barney Frank who failed to act act act on the
warnings about the problems with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

This contortion of history is why I referred to Reagan has having provided the initiative to create agriculture and stated that no one had any food prior to Reagan's policies. Complete nonsense. It's like saying Nixon invented China, or WW2 never happened.

You must have been asleep when the housing boom---which began
Under Under Clinton Clinton Clinton --- and continued under Bush
Bush Bush until the Democrats Democrats like Maxine Waters etc.etc.
failed to Act Act Act on the warnings about Freddie Mac and Fannie
Mae.
With all that Military Spending (check the census)their must been
just one or two Shipyard workers and Airplane Workers who made it
to the middle-Class.
Reagan's Military was the military that convoyed all those ships
through the Persian Gulf and won Desert Storm.
Nixon Nixon Nixon did not invent China but he did did did reopen
relations withhh China. You must have been asleep during that
one to.
