There are 5 comments on the American Thinker story from Dec 9, 2013, titled Counter-Moves in the American Economy. In it, American Thinker reports that:

Did anyone notice the counter-moves emerging in the American economy last week? The week after the President of the United States sat in a Washington DC park with illegal immigrants telling them that "change" would only come about by their continuing to protest, and the Pope touted the evils of capitalism, thousands of fast-food employees ... The only reason American business's in sourced Mexicans for work here was to make damn sure they wouldn't have to give them a dime. The job's our teenage kids once filled have been taken over by adult Mexicans screaming for higher wages and union protections... ha ha ha ha ha... Justice for the greedy bugger's because those illegal false documented workers, will drive a sedge hammer into profit, if they refuse to work for 5 bucks an hour anymore. ha ha ha..Go to hell big business, you single handedly destroyed this Country with your brilliant concept of hiring cheap Mexican labor. Turnabout is fair play.. ha ha ha

It's a bit amusing here where i live there's been a continued picketing and marching demonstration in front of several trash disposal companies by what i believe we can reasonably assume are "illegals" as they are demanding better pay and benefits.
The ones that have been here for awhile now are getting a taste of their own medicine once you create a family and take on responsibilities i.e. rent, bills etc. you can't make it on what companies want to give you, don't want to work for that pay? there's many more "illegals" comming right behind you that will take whatever they can get, thats karma.

Even if they were to raise it to $15.00 still wouldn't be enough with the large family size most illegals tend to have.
Again, as the responsibilities are increasing as each year goes by the pay won't for the majority' aint no future for anyone really.
