As long as employers are given a free pass to hire them, they will come. E-Verify should be a mandatory requirement foe all employers who have any business license. The problem would then be over.

Go home. Wait 10 years. Apply legally.
Use that 10 years to insure passing the requirements for legal entry into the country... you know, educated, self supporting, disease free.
you victiKKKrackas by-passed the Indians laws. you savages just broke through and stole every damn thing that wasn't nailed down.

E-verify IS manadorty in Arizona, and less than half of all businesses comply with the law. Just how are you going to force that many businesses to comply? Fine them? What if they simply refuse to pay the fine just as they're currently refusing to use E-verify? Even if you COULD enforce it, are you going to shut down over half of all businesses in Arizona? Gee, I wonder what that would do to the economy??
There are methods to accomplishing this goal.

When an LLC, Inc., Co., or PDA is filed, every filer must sign up and link their current / new hires to E-Verify.

If they are not found in compliance, fine them - if that fine and remedy of said employee is not documented within 60 days, yes, shut them down.

How many more employees looking for work would in fact find work were this to be enforced? Look at the building blocks of tax paying citizens that would in fact be contributing to the system if this were federally enforced.

You may disagree, but I think this would be a step in the right direction.

Apparently I have a much better understanding of our immigration laws than do you.
How many junior high school dropouts do you want in the work force?
How many seventh grade "women" do you want popping out babies so they can realize that good old "American Dream?"
How many high school dropouts does your employer have on its payroll?
Why do you think uneducated foreign nationals should be given preference over educated, self supporting people standing in line to come here legally?
How many uneducated, unskilled welfare recipients are you willing to support?
We, as well as every other country on the planet, have standards and requirements for legal entry. There is a very valid reason for those requirements. If they can't meet the standards, don't expect them to sneak in and be welcomed.
You get back to me after you have opened up your home, taken a few illegals in and adopted them. I'll continue to pester my elected officials to vote to round them all up and ship them home.
the Indians should've rounded up all you savages and shipped your azzes back across the waters. who the hell are you!!!!!!

In theory that is a good idea but in practice it does not work. First the Republican and Democratic Parties receive huge contributions from the industries that hire illegal aliens.. Secondly the employers only have to prove that the illegal alien presented papers, fraudulent or stolen is o.k., that say they are legal workers and the employer is in the clear. If an employer suspects that an employee presented stolen or fraudulent documentation and refuses to hire a person because of that fact they can be arrested and sued for civil rights violations and discrimination, even if the documentation is stolen or fraudulent. There is also the “contractor” ploy where they pay a third party to provide labor and if it is discovered that they have illegal workers the blame is on the contractor who is often a legal immigrant who exploits illegal aliens for others. In short the laws have been written to protect the employer and those who support amnesty while saying “go after the employers” block any attempt to change the laws. If they had not continuously blocked e-verify then it would be easy to go after those that hire illegal aliens.

If "we are a gov't of laws" then why are there 11 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country with little or no chance of being deported as our laws require? Once the government starts to ignore crimes for political and monetary gain ALL of the laws are at risk.

When over half the businesses in a state refuse to comply, just how are you going to shut them all down? Maybe you should tell Gov Brewer in Arizona your simple solution, because she obviously hasn't figured out how to do it.

Good point.

Had the American Indians shipped the whites back to Europe, they'd still have their country.

We should be able to learn from their mistake, but we won't.

When our country becomes a piss poor third world country, we're going to wonder,'how did THIS happen'?

Oh, maybe we should have DEPORTED them, rather than SUPPORTED them.

The only path they use is the cow path through our desert. They won't even use the reformation laws to come and to be legal. How many will want to learn any English. Look at the ones that have been here for 2 generations? Nothing has changed except they've learned to use our Social Welfare programs and charity programs like pro's....... The only path we need offer is the path out.Our politicians will find out when they try to get them to sign in. They prefer the thieving, living under the radar, way too signing up legally. Furthermore, they don't want to become Americanized or they would have before now instead of slithering around hiding in the shadow's. Time will tell. And border protection better be working before even one get's a free ride.

That comment shows you know nothing about our current "legal" immigration system.
Our legal immigration system is so restrictive that people from countries like Mexico have almost no chance of coming here legally unless they have a relative here or a specialized skill.
The reason they come here illegally is that they KNOW they have a better chance of winning the lottery than coming here legally.
This chart from Reason magazine is a pretty accurate summary of how completely screwed up our "legal" immigration system is:
http://reason.com/assets/db/07cf533ddb1d06350...
When you give people NO CHANCE when they play by the rules, don't be surprised if they choose to not play by the rules...
more the reason to cut all ties with them. we do not have to take in more people no matter where they come from. all immigration needs to be on a need to help the country not on a need or want from others to come here. we are importing poverty even though we are not supposed to let those in who will be a public charge.

it needs to be harder to come here. all must contribute bring something of value to the melting pot. and right now there is no need for any more workers. it is a con by those who want slave labor.
