You're right they don't work so good hard workers as the panderers/advocates preach all the time.
The sad part as you stated, are the American men out of work.
These men have had no choice but to apply for Social Security, welfare and other social services in order to survive.
This is what bothers me the most. These men have worked hard, all their lives and now find themselves with no work because illegals are here and are working for cheap.
I could see where we are heading and it does not look good.
There is only so much revenue and jobs to go around.
The cost of supporting these illegal Immigrants/and their children,be it welfare and holding down these jobs(poor quality work) is massive and unsustainable.
And if the "gang of eight" and the obam get their way, they will dump OVER 11 mill people on our 22 million unemployed Americans OVERNIGHT by providing them green cards as a FIRST step!!! Which is all they wanted in the first place!

Allowing a group of people who essentially hate Americans just doesn't make one bit of sense. They are, for the most part unskilled, and the taxes they will pay will be negligible. They already have entrenched themselves into our free social services system, and will become even more dempendent. The fact that our politicians want to anable thsse people to remain is for their own selfish reasons. Nothing good will come of this...for the American people.

Being I am a numbers guy and researcher, hear are actual numbers to back you up and its WOSE the you think..
Center of Immigration Studies/ High cost of cheap labor Steven A. Camarota is Director of Research at the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C.

http://www.cis.org/High-Cost-of-Cheap-Labor
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.

Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).

With nearly two-thirds of illegal aliens lacking a high school degree, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low education levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments, not their legal status or heavy use of most social services.

On average, the costs that illegal households impose on federal coffers are less than half that of other households, but their tax payments are only one-fourth that of other households.

Many of the costs associated with illegals are due to their American-born children, who are awarded U.S. citizenship at birth. Thus, greater efforts at barring illegals from federal programs will not reduce costs because their citizen children can continue to access them.

If illegal aliens were given amnesty and began to pay taxes and use services like households headed by legal immigrants with the same education levels, the estimated annual net fiscal deficit would increase from $2,700 per household to nearly $7,700, for a total net cost of $29 billion.

Costs increase dramatically because unskilled immigrants with legal status -- what most illegal aliens would become -- can access government programs, but still tend to make very modest tax payments.

Although legalization would increase average tax payments by 77 percent, average costs would rise by 118 percent.

The fact that legal immigrants with few years of schooling are a large fiscal drain does not mean that legal immigrants overall are a net drain -- many legal immigrants are highly skilled.

The vast majority of illegals hold jobs. Thus the fiscal deficit they create for the federal government is not the result of an unwillingness to work.

The results of this study are consistent with a 1997 study by the National Research Council, which also found that immigrants' education level is a key determinant of their fiscal impact.

This was from 2004 and the Hispanic pop doubled in the last 10 years. OUCH!!!.

I sat down with a U.S. Congressman months ago because I was MAD we the people are NOT getting the numbers.

I spent the last 5 years crunching the numbers and most of those numbers (ready for this) most all are off the freaking GOV web sites, All I did was put it all together. Hears what I asked the Congressman and the people on the Street.

Of all the 24/7 news media did ANYONE tell us yet WHY we had a recession, it just doesn’t fall out of the SKY!!!

Well I found out WHY and the answer was off the GOV Chart on U.S. manufacturing history since the 40s chart. In 2000 when Clinton signed the Free Trade Act the U.S. LOST over 42,400 factories in 9 Years. Dems blamed all this on Bush.. It was CLINTION that killed the U.S. economy, ironically Clinton also signed NAFTA and obviously he thought that went well and went Global!!! Bingo

In 9 years the U.S. Lost 6 Million direct factory jobs, for every 1 job loss 15 other jobs are directly loss or affected. Like that 1 drunk effects 7 people. In 9 years 90 Million JOBS were at play in that time frame.

The dems argue Jobs were farmed out to over seas. Yes but that didn't last long. I remember Clinton's speech, when he said, the U.S. needs to stop being just an Industrialized country, become a world leader in technology. Reason Clinton presidency /economy went so well, for the first time in U.S. history the U.S. went through a technological era/age
http://prospect.org/article/plight-american-m...

By 2009 the U.S. had less factories then we had before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. In 2006 the U.S. traded with 127 countries, China 70. In 2012 China now trades with 124 countries U.S. traded 76 countries

Teddyr4me…Hears is the REAL Cliff that also wasn’t mention in the News.

50.4% of U.S. births were minorities in 2011. U.S. Census age groups in Demographics. Form 2010 to 2020, in that 10 year peroid 45 million kids becoming the age of 18, over half will be minorities. When looking at their H.S. Grad rates. Close to HALF will have quit or flunked school.

Teddyr4me did you ever hear in the news you hear labor Force Participation Rates broken down by Education attainment?

I have that, Labor Force Participation Rate for a NON high school grad 46.6% That means 20 MILLION more on WELFARE, that’s the REAL Fiscal cliff..

I told the U.S. Congressman that I think I can effect a big change in School flunking. All the GOV school programs doesn't WORK, its basically a Failure!!!

I told him when people go to collage they go for making MORE money. They also put their Collage Grad diploma in nice frame because it has MEANING and carries status, BUT the H.S. diploma means ZIP.

So I said FORGET the programs and the dumb flunky parents don’t do ZIP so lets Skip all of this and take directly to the streets. For the FISRT time in America we need a second MIN wage.. keep that one we have now for a control line, but lets have another min wage say $ 1.75 MORE an H.R. if you have a Grad Diploma. so the kid down the street says. Man I should have gotten my diploma because my neighbor up the street is making $ 3,640.00 more a year and he now has a car and apt… Obviously to phase this in the old employees will Bitch but in long term LES Gov assistance will be needed for welfare and something can be set up by Gov for the phase over

I see NO one in American coming up with ANY solution on this except ME.. Ironically half way thorough this meeting Congressman sidekick said did I ever think of running for office. I said WHAT!!! While Clinton signed the bill, didn't Bush Sr. come up with the plan? I firmly beleive an educated America makes for a stronger America, but I also know that not everybody is college material, therefore there should be training programs in place for thoise who wish to learn a trade. There will always be things that need to be built or fixed. I agree, I too am angry with both sides. They have clearly failed us.(I had to cut some of your post.)

OOOPS...your post was so long, and I thought I had removed enough to post my comment...while Clinton signed it, Bush Sr. actually got the ball rolling. I firmly believe that an educated America makes for a stronger America, however not everybody is college material. That's where trade schools come into place and should be encouraged for those who like to fix things. build things, even cook things. We once were a country of self-reliant, personally repsonsible people. We have been relegated to become a country of people who demand and expect a free ride. The idea of legalizing a group of mostly illiterate people ought to make folks realize that this is a recipe for disaster, as these people will not be able to totally be self-sufficient without having any real skills. This country is run by fools, and it was fools who put them into office.

The jobs I'm talking about are NOT high skill jobs. An uneducated Mexican can lay tile as well as an uneducated American. Do you really believe that just because someone is a "real 'Murrican" that he is inherently better at trimming trees or laying bricks or whatever?

That's absurd. Most of these are low skill jobs that anyone with average intelligence could learn in a matter of hours.

I haven't seen any "lack of quality" from the (alleged) illegals.

One issue is that low skilled white males no longer want to work. I heard David Brooks say that 40 percent of men aged 50-60 no longer work. I think as people began needing to have more education to get good paying jobs, we have tons of low IQ white people in the country who checked out of trying and of working once things changed to where they would need higher education in order to make a decent living. In other words their pride tells them they are somehow too good to take the gardening jobs and maintenance and construction jobs even though in reality they may not even be skilled enough to do building maintenance or construction. We have a dumbed down population at large now so the white guys who are in that boat don't want to admit they need to take the jobs that the Mexican men are doing so the white guys go onto disability to avoid working to try to make it look like they are better than the folks from Mexico because they don't work, they are not doing the low wage jobs. It's a real mess. In some ways the Mexican men are showing the white men up by going and taking the jobs and learning the trades. And also because of welfare, black men at large do not work. More go to jail than to college, and the majority of them don't have fathers, so they refuse to do the low wages jobs as well as the hillbilly white males do. People are going to have to get more realistic about what they are worth and and about the government being able to pay them to live big without working.

I don't know where your from , but I do know that there is so much of your comment that just is not true(at least where I'm at,Chicago,Illinois). I don't see it as you do.
When you have illegals taking up jobs once held by men(white men as you stated)for lower pay, most will refuse to work in such circumstances. They know the company will not pay them decently once they have seen the benefits of hiring an illegal, so they usually return to college to better there education. I have seen men as old as 60 sitting right next to me in a class.
You see they can't carry around fraudulent credentials to apply for welfare along with their wife /children all the while working for cheap as illegals do.. They know they cannot sit idle and expect things to change or for that matter depend on the Gov. to take care of them. Most of these men you speak of want to work. They do not want welfare, food stamps nor SSI,,,, they want to work and know what it takes to land a job, be it going back to school or traveling even further to find a decent paying job.
It is not easy for these men and they know this.
With this illegal Alien problem we suffer , jobs will be harder to find. So they go back to school, they do whatever it takes to land a good.decent paying job where the employer is not hiring illegals and is not corrupt(benefiting big-time by hiring illegals).
It's just so much I want to say/write here about your comment , but I realize we are from different States. Therefore I will refrain and hope you understand where I'm coming from.

In other word one cannot really generalize because each State is different, faces different problems and deals with them differently.

That's true. Things are different in different places. But I did see David Brooks on Charlie Rose' show say that 40 percent of men in their 50s and 60s are not working now. Here where I live is mostly white people and you will see all of these men on SSI, most I meet are either retired or on SSI. You would rarely meet a man up here who has a job, only the ones who are in their 20s, first jobs, or maybe some in their 30s, but most of the rest of them do not work. And, then you see the maintenance guys in the apartments are all Mexican, so are all of the gardeners, and yet I will meet white guys who say well they can do some work in a warehouse or something. In other words, they don't have the skills to do home repairs nor work in the trades, they don't own tools. So this is what it is up here. But, as you say, different places are different. Go only 100 miles from here to San Francisco and you will see mostly all college educated, highly intelligent, working men, not many on SSI and not many without higher education. There are 3 million jobs in the financial district in San Francisco which attract some of the brighest and best people in the country, whereas in Sacto there are no jobs, no companies, downtown is empty stores, most everyone I have met is on SSI and on GA and this place doesn't attract anyone with an education. Poor Arnold Swartzenager, when he was the governor, he is used to Beverely Hills and Malibu, and being around rich people and being able to go out to nice restaurants, etc. He comes up to Sacto and there's NOTHING here, so he used to take a jet out of here every weekend. He could not get the hell out of here fast enough.

<quoted text>And now the politicians want to bring all of these educated immigrants who have money into the U.S. to keep the country going. So here they let tens of millions of Mexicans come here and now they are as much as admitting that they are not able to contribute nor to carry the country financially nor educationally. Now they want to bring all of these people here and give them citizenship if they start a business and buy a home.
I saw Bill Clinton say several times that we lost out on 5 million jobs we were offered in computer science and in engineering due to our people not going to college. So now we have all of these high school dropouts due to the illegals having come from Mexico and we also have this huge baby boomer generation retiring that is dependent on the younger workers to fund Social Security and Medicare in order for them to receive SS and Medicare. Well, the majority of Mexicans don't make enough to pay income taxes, if they make low wages they pay very little into SS and Medicare and they use up a lot more tax money on the schools and on the welfare programs than they pay in taxes. I do not see any way that the baby boomers are going to be able to get SS and Medicare. Instead of having 30 people paying in for one person on those programs, we will soon have 2 people paying in for one person on the programs, AND at the same time we also have a huge Mexican population of high school dropouts on welfare programs and many in the prisions too, all costing tons of tax money. It's a joke that welfare and the entitlements won't collapse from lack of tax money.
The Mexicans don't realize that there are not enough educated whites to carry the welfare for them. If there were, the politicians would not be bringing people here from other countries to start businesses. And who can say if people will want to come here with the debt we have and with the problems with the Mexicans.
Your points are well thought out and artfully expressed. Bravo.
