Clear eyes. when was the last time you saw an illegal Latino/Hispanic with clear eyes... They're always bloodshot or crossed. They cannot see beyond the tips of their noses, to continue to believe this Government gives a chit. No one cares about this. This is so far down the list of importance, and yet of course the beggars are still screaming, give me/feed me/ make me legal enough to get welfare/ please? No shame.

clear eyes to see that anything other than extreme punishment for illegal aliens is a reward?

illegal aliens have all proven themselves unfit to be citizens and are just criminals with loud mouths.

when the shamnesty was written la raza being involved proved this to be about special treatment based of ethnicity. and have nothing to do with fairness of anything good for the USA.

all efforts need to be to benefit the American citizens, our people are hurting and rewarding illegal aliens makes all matters worst.

I will not be on topix beginning Monday the 9th. I received word today that my father passed, I have to drive from Vero Beach to Progresso, Mexico for the services. I will be gone for maybe 10-12 days. He was such a good man, he took care of his family and was such a hard worker. My employees will continue to do minor jobs but will wait until I get back for anything large.

Keep me and my family in your prayers.

They can reunite in their own homeland. American lawbreakers get separated from their families why should illegal aliens be treated any different?

American prisoners, even the worst of the worst, are allowed to see their relatives, some even on conjugal visits. Why shouldn't the human beings arrested for a mere documentation violation be afforded the same right?

Hm, so you support someone like Michael Guzman (an American) who raped two college co-eds, killed one, then went on to be allowed conjugal visits in prison and fathered several children while in prison? And an undocumented busboy working 20 hrs a day, 7 days week should be ripped from his family never to see them again? How so very telling of your soul, Bren. My Father shall judge you harshly.(Psst, Stock up on maximum sun screen for your final trip, it's going to be very hot there. LOL).

Mere documentation violation? These are foreigners here in our country illegally. They are not and should not be afforded the same rights as a citizen has. Many of them are felons because they have been deported and returned again many times. Many of them have committed SS and ID fraud which are felonies. It isn't just a simple documentation violation.

The relatives of illegal aliens can go to Mexico or wherever else they are from to visit them. No way should they be given a pass on our immigration laws just so they can have a continued visit on our soil. Why the need to call attention to them being human beings? So what! All lawbreakers are human beings. Doesn't mean a thing in our justice system.

I don't agree with conjugal visits for those who have been convicted of heinous crimes. However, if that is what the law allows unless it is put to a vote there is nothing we can do about it. Our laws also state that illegal aliens are to be deported when caught and just because they have family here doesn't entitle them to stay here. They made the decision to violate our immigration laws and knew the consequences if caught. Put the blame where the blame belongs.

My condolences to Juan if it is true that his father died. Hopefully he has asked God to forgive him for coming here illegally and bringing his son here with him.

I would suggest that Juan stay in his homeland as long as he is going back there to pay his last respects.
