Good! Now that this distraction is over what is the next distraction to keep the spot light off of the actual unemployment rate, decreasing wages and the continued recession? We still have gay marriage and the old favorite abortion.
I opposed the maintaining the status quo on illegal immigration but as of now deportations are up and there is still a lot of pressure at the local level to make life difficult for illegal aliens. As the recession lingers on Americans will become less and less tolerant of illegal aliens.

Not to worry. President Obama will merely issue another Executive Order at the end of his term granting amnesty.

That is the way of smart people.

That sounds like a threat on the President life.

Now, where is that hotline to the Secret Service.

So interesting that some poster's on this forum believed the House would roll over and hand over citizenship too several million Mexicans....ha ha ha Juanita. Sorry for your loss, although you would have not qualified anyway. But strange as it sounds, if the illegals were forced to face the truth and told to go home and apply, many may be allowed back in. But when they continue to act like teenager's, busting in, steeling fake papers, knocking up and anchoring like bunny's, it's never going to happen. Civilized Society will not accept this, ever...

President does not have that power. No wonder illegal aliens are so stupid, they will believe anything. The President is part of the executive branch, they don't make the laws, can not make a law.

So just wait for Obama to do so. Because when he leaves office he will not leave a forwarding address or live in your neighbor hood. He won't know you if he passes you on the street.
