People who are against this reform are not racist (at least), they are only insecure with people who will benefit from this because the immigrants are hard worker and statistically have the tendency to surpass who are here doing nothing but blaming others of their failure in life.
potter that is not true, what the problem is it is not normal to grant 30million border crossers a stay.that is an invasion, they do not help the cause.they demand big turn off.

Obama phone? Did you fall for that hoax? That is funny.
There are two things you have to know about the program. The first is that it was started during the Saint Reagan administration. The second thing of course is that there is not one dime of taxpayer money involved. It is entirely funded by the telecommunications industry.
I am not sure why right wingers were not upset about this when Reagan started it or during the administrations of the three presidents that followed him. It only became an issue 30 years later when Obama was in office.
You seem to know a lot about the free phone thing...did you get yours?

Goodlatte and all the Dem's and Repub's working this bill need to take a trip to the Border and talk in person to a Border Patrol Officer..I read a blog written by an ex-BP Officer today. They are coming in more than ever and the Border is so Porous it's easy to come and leave...The Senators and the House are needing to talk to the people that deal with this. They also get a pass, once they make it past the Border without being caught. And then some American job dissapears and some neighborhood get's their homes broke into and their Auto's stolen. It's a big joke too this Ex BP officer. The manpower it would take is incredible he said. They cannot protect the Sovereignty of this Country.

What's the difference if those people will be legalized or not. They are already here. We have de facto amnesty eversince. Solve the problem let them come out of the shadow so they will pay taxes and contribute to society. Preventing it is hypocrisy. Status quo is not the solution. Deportation is impossible.

That's the difference between us. If I hear something new I try to learn more about it. You on the other hand blindly accept whatever is being fed to you.

Why dont you run over to an other country.see if they let you stay.or if they will make you legal!(not).but no american would do that, what about the people that dont have jobs here.if obama would stop feeding them they would leave.ok on that note I dont know what you are thinking.you sound a little weird today.thank you

Again another uninformed comment. Reagan never started a program to give out free cell phones. The free cell phone program started in 2008.Just so you know Reagan was not president then. The whole thing began back in 1996 when the Federal Communications Commission authorized the programs for landline phones. At that time it provided discounts on landline phones only. Again Reagan was not president in 1998.

Also the money comes from tax not the telecommunications industry. The industry collects the tax from subscribers but it is a tax and those that pay it are tax payers since they pay the tax. It's Time To Stop Taking Care Of White People

Look "forward without fear" people. What other choice do we have? I may not start a one person 'Occupy Wall Street' movement, but, I promise you, I will stop contorting my being to accommodate white neuroses. That's my new civil rights movement.

That was already covered in my post and link. Too bad you don't bother reading anything before commenting. Actually it's roots go back to the Telecommunications Act of 1934, but since you do not have much of a grasp of history there was no point in mentioning it.

You do seem to know more about free communications than most, therefore I surmise you've done your research on the topic long ago when you received your first free phone....thank's DEE DEE, he think's he knows everything about the Southwest and the travesty taking place in this part of our, mind you, our, Country? Yes Memo, there is a huge BP Problem, and it does affect all people who have lived in the Southwest. I rarely believe anything I read, my experience with illegals comes from a Family history in Nevada owned Business's that employ illegals and have been for a very long time. It's a problem with hospitality in Nevada and a lack of legal workers there. I also work in healthcare and have seen the millions of dollar's spent on illegals for there free health care, and they do get free healthcare and have for 30 year's...defending law breaking always makes me wonder about the character of any individual.
