There are 33 comments on the GPB.org story from Jul 14, 2013, titled Patrolling Border, Sheriff Sees Immigrants' 'Determination'. In it, GPB.org reports that:

Tony Estrada is the sheriff of Santa Cruz County, Ariz., the poorest of all the border counties in the U.S. There are more than 1,000 Border Patrol Agents stationed in the county, which shares some 50 miles of border with Mexico.

But why is it America's responsibility to help these people? Why not their own country-Mexico?Its not like Mexico is poor, they just want to pawn off their low-lifes on America.%This country has many poor Americans and do not need 20 million mexicans.

I would love to line you up in front of American Veterans and tell them, you built this Country pal. You wouldn't see another day. You nor Mexico had anything to do with building anything except more dumpy neighborhoods, graffiti and shit all over California and across the Country...Juan quit defending Mexico if you really want to be American, it's stupid.

The Illegals did help us make our Border Patrol bigger and with 20 million coming over, we know we need to secure our Borders. A good start is an electrical charged fence!

Coming to this country as an infant should give me priority over others who just walked in.

The only priority that should be due you is a speedy deportation, before you procreate more kids that you will expect the taxpayers to take over as their daddy..

Since you mentioned kids, I have a new girlfriend, she has two children I treat like my own. I haven't move in with her yet, but it's something I'm considering to help save more money.

My moving in would help both of us. She's scared of several neighbors who live near by her. She would like me to stay so I could protect her and her children.

She cannot afford to move. She lives in section 8 housing and the closest is 15 miles away, in Fort Pierce. We have to stay in Vero because that's where I do most of my business. Electrical and Home Repairs.
