Get real Latinos
Even if the Democrats do get the tax increase they want, it wont even come close to paying for all the entitlements people are expecting for voting for Obama. This means no decrease in the deficit and somebody isn't going to get their gimmes. Its going to get ugly. How ugly. Take a look at Greece. The U.S. is traveling down the same road.

Based on what? The fact that the growth of spending is at its lowest level since the Eisenhower administration? Or are you only counting his first year in office where the bulk of the spending increases took effect. Of course during the first year we were still operating under the budget from the Bush administration.

I am referring to the article. You should try reading it before you comment. Neither the article nor I mentioned anything about Bush or Obama. The article is about how most Latinos would rather increase taxes on others than reduce government spending or even stop increases, primarily on entitlements. Sadly this is obviously true of the majority of Americans and that brings us back to the quote. While it is not politically correct to say it the truth is that many of Obama’s backers are backing him because they think he will give them more entitlements just as many of Romney’s supporter’s backed him because they felt he would not increase taxes on them. Special interest groups have been voting themselves money for years. The problem is that now the majority is trying to vote themselves money and the Democratic Party is counting on their greed to stay in power.

Genius, the article says "Latinos Favor Tax Increases for Wealthy..."

It does not say "Latinos Favor Tax Increases for Wealthy Whites only.

There are many shiftless whites who're part of the 47% who pay nothing but expect everything.

See the Red States as they're the highest users of food stamps and welfare and those are predominately white majority states.

California is the number one welfare state in the U.S. It accounts for 1/3 of all people on welfare. Seems to me that is a blue state. You know,Democrat. New York ranks second. Hmmm. Another Democrat state. So much for your red states statement. This is what the Democrats want. People dependent on the government. It insures them of a voter base.

I dunno, it just seems to me that we have a whole group of people, maybe 8-12 million of them that are drawing far more benefits from the system than they are legally entitled to yet pay a very small fraction of the taxes that they should. I think we should go after them before we do anything else.

I will agree tho that anyone on welfare or unemployment etc. should be required to take drug testa and require proof of job search etc.

Their opinions carry no more weight than anybody elses. I am for taxing the heck out of all remittances wired out of this country. How do they feel about that?
