Congress sees immigration overhaul this year; Obama will make pitch in Las Vegas speech

Jan 27, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reno Gazette-Journal

Republican and Democratic lawmakers were cautiously optimistic Sunday that a long-sought overhaul of the nation's immigration system that includes a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million illegal immigrants currently in the country will clear Congress this year, the result of changes in the political landscape shown in November's election.

In many countries you can not be a citizen unless you can trace your family tree to the time of independence. So what is your point? I of course would be fine with this interpretation, but the Constitution see things differently. Sadly you can claim citizenship because you were "borned" here, even though you do not think it applies to anybody "borned" after you.
Why are you quoting the preamble to the Constitution for no particular reason? You do realize this was written 82 years before the 14th amendment that you are talking about.Don't you?

Plus requiring a SS number to register for school. Any DUI by a illegal alien is a felony, procession of false documentation a felony and deportable offense.
Those are just a few.

XXI CENTURY ( Amnesty 2013 )

I am in favor all undocumented people in this country (amnesty) but I wanna explain , USA do not need 12 milhon undocumented in this country:

A) to pay in-come tax,

Note: USA print money every day, milhons, and milhons

B) to be a labor productive.

Note: USA can buy whatever they wanna.

c) to go to the army.

Note: USA have NUKEs.

D) never say " they can not deport 20 milhon...... "

Note : USA " yes they can "

So, by 27 years undocumented people in this country are like white mouse in the lab,(1986-2013), check this out:

1) they had showed what happens when you PASSED AMNESTY BILL (1986 republican Regan president ) without employers enforcement ( if they contract somebody without properly documents)

Note: 1986 -- Bill gates, Apple, linux or NASA did not have many tecnology that we have today, funny :-)

2) 27 years with illegal entry by south border means a huge black market for dirt guys.

A) smuglers
B) illegal guns
C) Money wash
D) prostitution
E) slave labor
F) desistabilization on mexico governament
G) human trafic

Note: many more, to open a big hole in american economy. I forget about those guys with expire visas.

3) scapegoat by Republicans at all american elections.. Just to promote bad guys in our powerfull body ( governament )

Now is time to fix this broken system , because many people death, sofer and cry just to enrich a few, bad busyness without a lider.

You consider a Constitutional Amendment to be a "loophole" that needs to be abolished, but then you make it sound like the end of the world if somebody else commits a civil infraction. You have zero tolerance for that, but the Constitution? Who cares about that thing?
You have to make up your mind. Laws are either important or they are not. You just can't choose which ones you think are important.

you know, rico.

if every illegal alien came into the usa with a million dollars to spend, I think I would not be opposed to them coming here.

from what I read, the numbers show that most illegal aliens coming over don't fall into that category.

and that's a big problem. wouldn't you agree?

we the usa cannot save the world. and providing an amnesty to an unlimited number of illegals just doesn't make sense if you think about it.

imagine if 100 MILLION or 200 MILLION illegals showed up on our doorstep when/if we offered amnesty?

there are over 6 BILLION non-usa citizens out there, rico. did you know that?

Judge: Immigration Agents Suing Obama Can Move Forward

Published January 28, 2013

Fox News Latino

A federal judge ruled that nearly a dozen federal immigration agents can move forward with their lawsuit against their own bosses and even President Obama over change in enforcement policy that the agents argue prevent them from doing their jobs.

Federal Judge Reed O'Conner ruled on Friday Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents' case has legal merit. They argue their bosses essentially have forced them to look the other way and not enforce the law -- thus overstepping Congress by changing laws through directives rather than legislation.

Illegal Aliens Receive Billions in IRS Tax Benefits

Friday, 23 Sep 2011 05:17 PM

By James Walsh

On July 7, 2011, the U.S. Department of Treasury's inspector general for tax administration issued a startling report entitled "Individuals Who Are Not Authorized to Work in the United States Were Paid $4.2 Billion in Refundable Credits."

No wonder the nation's finances are in turmoil.

******It is clear that unauthorized aliens are filing ITIN tax returns with fraudulent data.******

The Treasury report found that "One common type of
fraudulent refund involves taxpayers fabricating a Wage and Tax Statement (Form W-2) that shows excess withholding and results in a tax refund."

Loophole!

Now who lied, Kennedy or Hacker?

Hart-Celler Act hearings 1965 Quote:

Senate immigration subcommittee chairman Edward Kennedy (D-MA.) reassured his colleagues and the nation with the following:

"First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same ... Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset ... Contrary to the charges in some quarters,[the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia ... In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think."

Sen. Kennedy concluded by saying,

"The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs." (U.S. Senate, Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization of the Committee on the Judiciary, Washington, D.C., Feb. 10, 1965. pp. 1-3.)

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

1965 Immigration act,

Quote: Among those who more accurately foresaw the future effects of the change in immigration law was a certain Myra C. Hacker, Vice President of the New Jersey Coalition, who testified at a Senate immigration subcommittee hearing:

"In light of our 5 percent unemployment rate, our worries over the so called population explosion, and our menacingly mounting welfare costs, are we prepared to embrace so great a horde of the world's unfortunates? At the very least, the hidden mathematics of the bill should be made clear to the public so that they may tell their Congressmen how they feel about providing jobs, schools, homes, security against want, citizen education, and a brotherly welcome ... for an indeterminately enormous number of aliens from underprivileged lands."

"We should remember that people accustomed to such marginal existence in their own land will tend to live fully here, to hoard our bounteous minimum wages and our humanitarian welfare handouts ... lower our wage and living standards, disrupt our cultural patterns ..."

"Whatever may be our benevolent intent toward many people,[the bill] fails to give due consideration to the economic needs, the cultural traditions, and the public sentiment of the citizens of the United States." (U.S. Senate, Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization of the Committee on the Judiciary, Washington, D.C., Feb. 10, 1965. pp. 681-687.)

Between 1835 and the 1880s, the Mexican authorities paid private armies to hunt Native Americans, paying per kill and using scalps as receipts. The practice began when the Mexican government could no longer provide adequate protection to its citizens from the marauding Apaches and Comanches.
