...speaking Trique, one of the languages of the more than 120,000 indigenous Mexican farmworkers in California. Many of these new immigrants come from the ancient civilizations of Oaxaca, Mexico; Trique, Mixtec, Zapotec and other peoples who now face the challenge of not only harvesting the food that goes onto America’s dinner tables, but of creating a life that bridges two very different worlds.

The North American Free Trade Agreement of 1993, which flooded Mexico with American-grown corn, wiped out local farmers who wanted to sell their corn on the market. In addition, Mexico slashed wages and cut social welfare programs.

Cubans on board wooden planks, boats, rafts etc. who touch dry land on U.S. soil are "protected" Native Indigenous peoples, on the other hand, who migrate are "illegal". Something doesn't add up.

as long as foreign citizens who have babies in the usa can go back to their home countries and demand that we return their babies to them... they are not within the jurisdiction of the usa.

AND therefore, they don't fulfil the requirement for being a citizen of the usa. PERIOD.

This time around, officials involved hope for a better result, in part because all involved see the clear necessity of addressing what's called "future flow" -- the influx of migrants to the U.S. that's sure to come whether or not Congress passes an immigration bill.

While Congress acts to provide a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants already in this country, it's just as important to deal with future immigration, advocates say. Otherwise, some time from now the country will once again find itself home to many more illegal immigrants.

Unauthorized Asian American immigrants account for about 10 -11% of the U.S. unauthorized population and about 13-15% of the Asian immigrant population during the 2000-2010 decade http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/files/2012/06/...

13-15%, ONLY because their countries of origin do NOT border the U.S.!!! Just like any other ethnic group!

Your efforts to help the plight of the unauthorized immigrant, is only making matters WORSE, by pointing out the OTHER ILLEGAL activities they are involved in.
(using other peoples identity is so VERY wrong)
Yes they do most of them get a fake social security card with their name on it and a made up number yes it is illegal but most do not steal an other identy

do you think we should allow them amnesty?

personally, I don't.

I don't see why so many Hispanics think fellow Hispanics who are illegally in the usa should get amnesty. this bullshit about being "brothers" is just that.

when I was in mainland china, did the mainland Chinese look at me as their "brother" or treat me as a "brother"? the answer is no.

do Japanese look at me as a "brother"? or the Koreans? or the malays? or the Indonesians?

fact is... many of these "brothers" treat me like shit.

so.. I wonder why so many Hispanics keep pushing this bullshit lie about "brothers" for why they side with their illegal counterparts.

idiots.
