Paying taxes, is the best way to leave a paper trail which is necessary to obtain legal status.

I DON'T KNOW - and that's the point. How do you know that they ARE?

MY RIGHT to ASSUME someone is illegal trumps their "right" to pretend that they belong in my country.

With 20 million illegals in the U.S. with most having LEGAL familia HIDING and ABETTING them, I have EVERY RIGHT to form an opinion about MOST of them - especially when they're in a traditionally non-latino geographical area - such as small town Midwestern areas.

They OBVIOUSLY didn't grow up there, they OBVIOUSLY weren't born there, they OBVIOUSLY don't speak our language, and they OBVIOUSLY DON'T BELONG there.

I don't OWE any latino the benefit of the doubt about their citizenship when I KNOW that a HUGE percentage of them ARE illegal. I'll prudently err on the side of caution.

Simple things like speeding are misdeamenors. I had to go to courts for speeding. If it had not been my first offense it could have been punishable buy jail time. I don't think I am a criminal for speeding! The word criminal has a nasty connotation, and it make people think murderer, thief, rapist ,etc!
Even documented immigrants come to the US with the hope of one day returning to their countries. They are still immigrants, or do you have another colorful word that you would like to use? Speeding is not misdemenor it is a fine speeding greater than 100 mph can be considered wreakless driving which could end up in jail. Not paying your speeding ticket could end up receiving a warrant for violation of a court order which is a misdermenor.There different classes of felonys and misdemenors. Also the reason why the first is only misdemenor was to help Border Patrol process illegals out of the country quicker. But, some elected officials are now trying to change it to a felony.
