There are sh!tholes all around the world, Shug. They are often filled by people desperately poor clawing to get out and to clothe and feed their families.

Not to be confused with sh!theads like yourself, Shug: people who have never had to work a day or to provide in desperate circumstances and who think they better themselves by stepping on others.

What a shame it is worthless human beings like yourself are not forced into the shoes of others.

WHY are "people desperately poor " having families in the first place???

This is the mentality of these people, they don't have the simple common sense to STOP having kids they CANNOT support, these are precisely the kind we do NOT want in America.
Clueless uneducated low/no skilled baby factories who become needy and dependent upon others.

The bulk of illegals come from Mexico, and the average Mexican family has at least two children, while the average American family has 2.4. Those who live in rural Mexico average 6- 7 kids. They have little to no educations. The entitlements their American-born bring to the table obviously entice them to have more kids when they get here. Too bad they don't put the interests of their kids before that of themselves. Too bad what is meant for the children never gets to the children.

Hispanic Youth Dropping Out of U.S. Schools

High school dropout rates are a key performance measure for the American
education system. This report shows that the standard method for calculating
the dropout rate leads to a distorted picture of the status of Hispanic
students in U.S. schools.

In recent years an influx of young immigrants, who left school before coming
to the United States, has swollen the ranks of those counted as Hispanic
dropouts. Those youth present long-term policy challenges in language and
employment training, but their level of school completion does not reflect
the quality of U.S. schools or of Latino achievement in those schools.
Rather their presence reflects immigration and labor force trends.

Focusing on data for Hispanics who have dropped out of U.S. schools before
completing high school reveals a problem that is quite grave and that has
serious long-term implications for the education system, Latino communities
and the nation as a whole. However, the numbers in the report show that the
problem is not as bad as is commonly thought. Counting only Latinos who
dropped out after engaging the American education system yields a rate of
about 15 percent among 16- to 19-year-olds. That is good news. The bad news
is that this dropout rate is twice as high as the dropout rate for
comparable non-Hispanic whites. Further on the positive side, this report
finds that the dropout rate for Latinos in U.S. schools is improving as it
has been for non-Latinos.

That is "what's" I have observed firsthand. The parents of kids with whom I have interacted can't read notes and newsletters written in their own language, so what else is one to surmise, huh, sweetpea? When they can't even fill out a registration form to get their kids enrolled WITH the help of a freaking interpretor, what should one think is the problem? Some can't even spell their kids' names correctly. Why would one even think that a typical agrarian worker had any education? How about those illegal butchers who call themselves construction workers, are they highly educated? Accept it and move on, as it is what it is.

Plenty of uneducated white people posting right here in this thread, Bug.

Look in a mirror.

When Reagan was president, the dropout rate among Hispanics was over 35 percent- better than one in three (since you math isn't so hot). Today it's 13 percent.

Lower numbers in this case are better numbers.

I've be hearing the Johnny can't read speech for over forty years, bigot.

It's a variation of the same speech you give about people on food stamps you insist you observed "personally" loading groceries into the trunk of a brand new Cadillac.

And then I say: give us a name and you can't.

Wow, facts are bigoted? It's bigoted to be opposed to illegal immigration? Not our fault that most illegals are Mexicans and other Latinos but it doesn't matter all illegals regardless of ethnicity or nationality need to be sent home where they belong.

"About 41 percent of all Mexicans between ages 16 and 19 in the city have dropped out of school, according to census data.

No other major immigrant group has a dropout rate higher than 20 percent, and the overall rate for the city is less than 9 percent, the statistics show."

Naw, I see them load up panel vans, pick-up trucks and Nissan Maximas, but never a Caddie. You have me confused with somebody else. Hey dufus, there is a Federal law that keeps school personnel from divulging personal information about students and their families. We couldn'tt even give this info out to parents who wanted to send birthday party invitations. It's that serious. I am a realist, and you are living in la la land.
