Poll: Majority Supports Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants

There are 1474 comments on the KVOR-AM Colorado Springs story from Nov 14, 2012, titled Poll: Majority Supports Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants. In it, KVOR-AM Colorado Springs reports that:

Most Americans support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, an issue that may be high on the agenda of newly re-elected President Obama and the 113th Congress, given the increased importance of nonwhites -- including Hispanic voters -- in the nation's political equation.

If that is true then it is not surprising. Most Americans don't make decisions based on the desire for a free society or even to protect their own country.

That people would say anything regarding "paths" or "citizenship" when that damn border is still open is consistent with the current intellectual abilities of most voters.

I'm against a pathway for citizenship. If you don't respect our laws you do not belong here.

Are Hispanic Americans being "RACIST" when they whine about granting amnesty to 12-20 million (wag) illegal aliens, which over half are also Hispanic?

I have no problems with helping immigrants obtain LEGAL citizenship and/or working/temporary paperwork.

That being said if an ILLEGAL ALIEN committed CRIMINAL FRAUD by using false documentation and signed off on other documents LYING about their name, information, status etc they should not be able to apply unless they have been brought to justice for criminal fraud because that's what the US Citizen would be charged with: fraud, id theft, making false statements etc.

Being here ILLEGALLY does NOT justify criminal activity. If an ILLEGAL immigrant wants to live here then live here legally with citizenship or visas and not under the radar using false/fraudulent documentation making false statements on official paperwork.

No.

racism[ ry szzəm ]NOUN
1. animosity toward other races: prejudice or animosity against people who belong to other races
2. belief in racial superiority: the belief that people of different races have different qualities and abilities, and that some races are inherently superior or inferior

You don't seem to be listening. I am one of the strongest supporters of changing the anchor baby law. I have told you that before. Now back to the deportation and your projected return. First, if they grow up somewhere else they may not be interested in coming back her. Second if they do they may not bring their family with them and if they do, maybe not the whole family. Third, even if they do, we were rid of them and the problems they bring for all of the years in between.
Got it?
Of course they will want to come back, that's why they come here in the first place. Mexico is a third world country. If you have kids born here and lived here for 16 years, of course in two years they will come back. And, no one is going to deport them. Not even one Republican would say in the debates that they would deport them. I think our immigration laws have "chain immigration," which means if you have one family member who is a citizen they can bring their whole family here, so those anchor babies will bring all of them back no matter, they get to come back legally. I say hit them financially, end welfare. If we didn't have free housing, free food, free medical, then Mexico would be about the same as here in terms of welfare, so yes, they would go back. If you ended welfare, crime would go way down, the costs for the prisons and for law enforcement and for the courts would go way, way down and the blacks who have been on welfare for the past 40 years would be wanting the jobs the illegals have. Ending welfare would solve a lot of it. The biggest problem is that they can work under the table AND collect welfare for the kids who are born here, so if they did not get double money, they would not be able to have so many kids. That is the best thing we could do to stop them from coming here and to stop the younger ones from having kids out of wedlock to get welfare. Now they say that 50 percent of Hispanic girls are having kids out of wedlock to get onto welfare, so if we don't end welfare, soon we will have most of the Mexicans AND most of the blacks on welfare, a majority of the nation on welfare, in gangs, committing crimes, and there's no way the country can stand.

Black people HATE white people because they blame them for the problems in the black community. They are not happy how they live and so they blame it on strangers. The Mexicans ONLY vote for who will give their race an amnesty. The blacks came out to vote for Obama because he is half black, so the Mexicans and blacks are voting only on race.

Mexicans have an average IQ of 83 and blacks have even lower than that. So that's a fact. And, if 80 percent of the black community is on welfare and commits crimes and hates us, and then 80 percent of the Mexicans also go on welfare now and commit crimes and hate us, okay, so where do we live and who is going to pay for all of them to be on full welfare? Did you ever think that people see the courts have gone bankrupt and the prisions are the number one expense to states now and that people simply do not want to have to pay half the country to be on welfare, that it is a matter of economics?? If 80 percent of both of those races of people are not paying taxes, this is ALL about economics. It's about taxes and who is going to pay the $450 billion a year of interest on our debt and how many trillions more do we have to run up to keep them all on welfare to prevent rioting?? It's economics. If the majority of them are on welfare, not only do they completely drain tax money, there is no one paying into SS and Medicare, so the baby boomers won't be able to get SS and Medicare. It's about tax money, economics and the collapse of the country. I don't care what color these people are nor where they come from. All I care about is the stats of 80 percent being on welfare. It's the tax drain and the bankrupting of the country and the high crime that people are concerned about, and I think the left had better deal with the reality of the situation because someone has to pay for all of it.

Now think about this, since Obama can't run again why would he bother supporting amnesty? It's not like he want to gain any votes from it, he already got all the votes he will ever need.
The Repubs are terrified of losing the Hispanic vote to the Dems. They lost the black vote to the Dems when LBJ made bigger welfare programs, and since the blacks can't function and live on welfare, the Dems bought the black, nonfunctioning, non-taxpaying vote, and now thanks to welfare and not stopping the illegals from coming here, they all have 5-13 kids each so now they are becomming the majority of the population so if the Repubs do not agree with the Dems to an amnesty, then the Dems get the second taker race on welfare all to themselves, and at that point, the takers on welfare control the elections. Until it all goes bankrupt, the welfare and crimes and ghettos will bankrupt the nation and the whites will have all left by then, then the DEms will have a third world country on their hands. But the Repubs will agree to an amnesty now so that they do not lose the Hispanic vote, otherwise they are finished.

What they did is the country paid the illegals to breed so much that now they contol the vote. It's a patheic joke to call any of this democracy.

The day before Thanksgiving my daughter's high school chose several (considered) poor families to donate a big dinner to...The people chosen all live in nice houses..I know of one of the students that lives in an old run down trailer with her dad and is very poor..SHE helped THEM out..They were all illegal aliens from Mexico. So many of OUR poor here in America were busy taking care of THEIR poor..HERE..My daughter (she's 16) said..Gosh mom, The family we helped was HUGE and couldn't speak English. I just said, That was nice of you, dear..when really i was thinking, what the he--??....I simply don't want her to "hate" even though it's so not fair. "That's the o'l American way".. to GIVE to people you THINK came over here for a better life more so than to help our own.

Can Rand Paul lead GOP to compromise on immigration and marijuana?

"...Paul is proposing assimilation for undocumented immigrants already in America, with an "eventual path" to citizenship. The "trade-off" to make it palatable to conservatives would be not to accept any new legal immigrants while were assimilating the ones who are here.

http://www.examiner.com/article/can-rand-paul...

Does Rand Paul see the writting on the wall?

With compromise in the air, Rand Paul is trying to push immigration reform that he thinks ultra-conservative tea-party republicans will embrace.

Paul's plan accepts the fact that illegal immigrants currently in the country will be "assimilated" and eventually offered a path to citizenship, but he wants to tie that compromise to his plan to stop LEGAL immigration for the duration of the "assimilation process".

This compromise is not likely to gain nmuch support from either side of the political aisle due to the assault on legal immigration, but it serves as further proof that even very conservative politicians understand that there is going to be compromise and they are trying to stake out their positions now.
