He is nearly American in years spent in the USA as he is Mexican. After 14 years in the USA he needs a translator? Has he really been in the USA that long? I have been in Mexico just a few years and can carry on a conversation in Spanish without any schooling or classes. Talk about not wanting to assimilate.

I was brought here as an infant. I have been working in the electrical field for over 15 years. I am one of those Obama would like for us to be given amnesty, we are not criminals, we contribute to the economy.

Are you earning at least $28 per hour and paying taxes or are you driving down average pay and skirting the taxation that supports this nation?

So he want's to be American? Why hasn't he learned English? Why does he still need a translater? They're such liar's. They have no intention of gaining American Status. They want our money sure, but if he had really cared about this Country, he would have learned English. These sob Stories don't matter to American tax payers anymore. We're just sick of them taking job's and using this Country to send money back to Mexihole.

I make $14 an hour and usually work a 60 hour week, I do not get paid overtime.

So you are driving down the economy and obviously your employer is aware of your legal status and is taking advantage of you. You are what is detrimental to our nation plain and simple. I don't doubt the you are an honest hard working man but rather acknowledge that your situation is harming American citizens.

So give Juan legal status and let him jack up his rates. Or would that just make you hipcritically drive to the Home Depot parking lot to hire somebody cheaper?

I work as part of a 12 man crew. We can build a home from the ground up. My speciality is electrical, I do all the wiring on a new home. I make $14 an hour, but we have more work than we can do. I've been doing new home construction for over 15 years.

You mean make him legal and pay him fairly according to his experience and skills? Like $28 hr that he should be making? Average billing for his skill set is over $60 hr so $28 for his labor is not out of line. I can assure you the general contractors he works under are billing these rates and taking advantage of his legal status. Hell I start crew members at $14 hr, not top then out there after 15 years. His situation drives down what employers are willing to pay citizens and thus the economy.

And you should be earning double for your skills. Your employer is taking advantage of you and your situation.

That explains all those recent electrical house fires in Texas. The black wire goes on the brass colored screw. The white wire goes on the silver colored screw. The green wire goes on the green colored screw. When doing a receptacle where one socket is controlled by a switch, make sure you break off that tab that goes between the two screw contacts. Otherwise you'll have a problem. Plus make sure the wire loops in the same direction the screw turns when tightening. Also make sure those screws are nice and tight. Don't need any arcing ,now do we? If you're electrician, I'm a neurosurgeon. I specialize in lobotomies. Need one?

An ambulance took me to the emergency room, they could not turn me away, that would be against the law because it was an emergency. I could sue them if they failed to treat me. That's the law.
