right here is a big part of the problem, letting them go in the USA,once caught if the person is illegal deport.

our gov needs to stop listening to fake sob stories, just dump them in their homeland and not even talk to them. we all know they will say anything to con a fool who listens.

We keep hearing how they cannot deport all 20+ million illegal aliens yet almost every time they have one in custody they let them go. Obama has even orderd them to release and not charge illegal aliens who have been arrested and identified as illegal aliens. It is not a matter of not being able to deport them. It is a matter as in this case of refusing to deport them.

"Immigrant rights activists say Erika's experience is only the latest example of the struggles immigrants face as a result of a broken system."

As a result of a broken system? because it doesn't work the way that you want it to does not mean it's broken...to think of these people as a fellow american's some day just makes me depressed.

If the system was not broken she would have been deported years ago. The immigration system is broken but it is not the immigration laws that need to be changed. It is just that the enforcement system needs to be maintained and used.

The arrogance! The sense of entitlement!!!

ALL of the parents should be routinely deported!!! At what point does this stop? At what point do we punish the ones who did this!!!

DREAMERS ARE ALWAYS WHINING THAT "...DO TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN." WELL, AMERICANS CAN SAY THE SAME THING, THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE DO TO NO FAULT OF OUR OWN AS WELL!!!!

This is a family decision, not a federal, if your parents get deported, you have the freedom and the right to go with them!!! Your choice!

The sad part about it is that attrition is the least expensive and most effect way of getting rid of illegal aliens! They never mention that!!! They just moan, how can we deport 11 million peope. ICE has just found that it is cheaper to deport than to have them stay! Enforcing our employment laws, no drivers licenses, no rental, it would end within a year!!! Probably help to balance the budget and open emergency rooms previously closed due to overuse by illegal aliens (hello Callie!).
