Stress and anxiety? These people are truly unbelievable.
Go ask that mother of 2 who has lost her job and stressing out because she can't figure out how she will feed her little ones.
Go ask that homeless man who lost his livelihood/job and his home and now finds himself living under a viaduct, and on and on and on,,,, Americans are the ones stressed and full of anxiety.
Americans are the ones who are being forced to support this invasion. Americans are the ones taxed to the poor house.
If I hear/read another sob story about what these illegals pretend to be going through ,,,I will scream!

"Now all they can do is think,'What are we going to do?' and 'Where are we going to go?' and "What are the requirements to get papers?'"

And rightly so!!!

This isn't our problem. They knew we had laws before they came here! They knew what the laws were because they are experts in circumventing it!!! Suddenly, this becomes more our problem than theirs!!!

Yes, i agree with you very strongly.
They are worried about keeping their families together? to keep working? please, they don't care about what we as americans are going through because of the flood of their people into our country.
Speaking of working, local gorcery stores are now transitioning to pre-packed meat(like Wal-Mart, Wegmans etc.) and laying off meat-cutters that make about $20.00-$25.00 per hr.(sounds like a decent wage to me) this summer at some of the leading unionized stores in the Md. area, work soon to be done by workers(mostly illegals) in processing plants in the mid-west(Swift,IBP,etc.)...mor e jobs going away because Americans don't want to do them(lol).

I suggest these people go to there own Government and splain their sob stories to them. Why are we forced to give a crap about thousands of people who have zero respect for our Country and it's laws. Just because you jumped the border and had a bunch of kids for anchor money doesn't give you the right to worry whether America owes you more. We owe you nothing. You took advantage of us and took many poor peoples job's and anchored for welfare. If you don't qualify for Obama's phony amnesty it's your own fault and you should have to face the consequences. Rubios' correct. Just because your here doesn't guarantee you anything.

But working in these fields all day is hardly fun, and with the national debate over immigration taking an even more divisive tone, the United Farm Workers (UFW) has issued a challenge: sign up on a web site and replace a farm worker.

The UFW has started a campaign,“Take Our Jobs,” aimed at those who complain that undocumented workers are taking Americans’ jobs. Visit the site, and you have an opportunity to enter your name, email, and zip code. Be aware of the disclaimer, however:

Job may include using hand tools such as knives, hoes, shovels, etc. Duties may include tilling the soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, picking, cutting, sorting & packing of harvested produce. May set up & operate irrigation equip. Work is performed outside in all weather conditions (Summertime 90+ degree weather) & is physically demanding requiring workers to bend, stoop, lift & carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

You are then asked if you are willing to work 6 days a week, 8-10 hours a day, with the caveat that if you live outside the Pacific Coast states and Hawaii, you may not receive overtime. http://www.triplepundit.com/2010/07/ufw-start...

Is Mayela being a bit sarcastic? UHGG. The migrant's are humble and decent people. Migrant farm worker's respect there job's, know where and when they can come here to work. Technology has changed farming so much that, there are farms that are owned and subsidized that aren't even working farms'. Another stupid decision made by Politicians. I have relatives in Utah that own a lot of land Near Bear Lake Idaho. thousands of acres that used to be farmed until the late 60's. They till it now only and still receive subsidies for not working it. That's not what migrant Farm workers want anymore Mayela. Some do but most want high paying job's in construction and oil frakking. SP ... The few that still farm have work permit's they didn't rip off the American tax payers to come here as did millions of other illegals. I do respect the migrant's that have come annually to many farms up here in Utah and Idaho, but not the thug's that use our Country as a bank account for Mexihell...

Economists Argue That "There Is Hardly Any Evidence That Immigrant Workers Have A Negative Effect On The Wages Of Native Workers." Economists Giovanni Peri and Francesco D'Amuri concluded in a 2010 paper that immigrants do not have a negative effect on the wages of native workers in the United States: "Despite popular belief, often based on anecdotes and bodged analysis, there is hardly any evidence that immigrant workers have a negative effect on the wages of native workers."
