As the right continues to despair over the landslide victory of President Obama’s re-election last November, the mandate that ‘We the People’ sent him back with continues to get his agenda pushed through (and over the right) as opposition concedes to the power of his historic Presidency.

It's a shame Obama didn't save all this effort to help those poor guys in Benghazi. He just deserted them where there stood.

it would seem all dems would be against any form of shamnesty being they claim to be for the working class American citizen.

all know more workers means hardships on the unemployed as well a lower wages. this can be pointed out with supply and demand, when the supply is more than the demand the workers lose their ability to get better wages.

seems some will fall for anything do to party.unions do the same thing, the more workers mean more unemployed union workers yet those in the ranks benefit from dues and what not, while their guys are on out of work job lists.

construction right now in ca for housing is offering wages down to 8 bux an hour when more than 20 years ago you could support a family off construction wages that were not min wage.

all that believe giving shamnesty will help citizens have been brainwashed.

Neither obozo nor the senate is proposing anything to stop the illegal invasion. We need to end birthright citizenship and stop giving free health and schooling to illegals.

Nobody since Reagan has ever suggested "amnesty". Buy a dictionary.

That's the thing I love about the tea party. They rant and rave and get all worked up over things, but never have a clue what they are talking about. Do you really think the tea party and their Fox news network made up the term "we the people"?

Next thing you know you will be telling us that the founding fathers were conservative.

Are you stupid, or what?

The right-wing tea-baggers don’t have a patent on the phrase “We the People”… they wouldn’t even know what the true meaning of that is. Furthermore, the right, who said such unpatriotic things about or towards President Obama as “I hope he fails” could never be seen as part of ‘We the People’ when it comes to matters concerning this great nation.

This is a nation of immigrants. Without them this country wouldn't be able to stand up for itself. We depend on these hardworking individuals who only come here to find a better life.

Then you either do not know the meaning of the word "amnesty" or you get your news from really bad sources.

Under the latest Senate proposal people will have to pay stiff penalties, go through background checks, pay back taxes and prove they speak English. After that based on the way the current immigration system and backlogs it could take up to twenty four years to get a green card.

You certainly could not call that amnesty. If you do please provide an example of the last time you paid a stiff fee for something, waited more than twenty years for delivery and then thought you got a free ride.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Scorpio

It's a frustrating and rather disappointing day because you have to cope with delays and setbacks to your plans. A travel arrangement may have to be postponed or there could be a hitch about something connected with education. You're also feeling subdued and tired, and you're longing to spend some time on your own although this may not be possible. Don't worry, this difficult mood will soon blow over.
