"It's very telling that Hispanic/Latino Americans shows no concern about any of the problems we experiencing here in America, the country they call home. They express no thought or concern on the long term double digit unemployment many AMERICAN citizens are experiencing, they say nothing about the economy, nothing about the millions of American citizens in prison or a host of other American issues. There one and only concern is demanding we legalize 20 million illegal aliens that will benefit their power structure".

"We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty,
and that is loyalty to the American people".

You forgot to post the rest of it!

LOL!!!

On assuming office in 1977, President Carter inherited an economy that was slowly emerging from a recession.

He had severely criticized former President Ford for his failures to control inflation and relieve unemployment, but after four years of the Carter presidency, both inflation and unemployment were considerably worse than at the time of his inauguration.

The annual inflation rate rose from 4.8% in 1976 to 6.8% in 1977, 9% in 1978, 11% in 1979, and hovered around 12% at the time of the 1980 election campaign. Although Carter had pledged to eliminate federal deficits, the deficit for the fiscal year 1979 totaled $27.7 billion, and that for 1980 was nearly $59 billion.

With approximately 8 million people out of work, the unemployment rate had leveled off to a nationwide average of about 7.7% by the time of the election campaign, but it was considerably higher in some industrial states.

Funny how "Au Contraire" had exactly the same grammar errors as you, Au Dumbo.

I have never argued that either alias was any less than equally stupid.

PS: As you know: I have a long list of this parallel Au Dumbo/Au Contraire stupidity.

Let's not forget it was Cruz's efforts during the government shutdown that exposed a lot of the unnecessary spending and the absolute craziness of Obamacare. This administration would love to have kept all their garbage off the radar screen. Cruz had the courage to expose these scams and shed some much needed light on our governments operation.
