RUSH: So, ladies and gentlemen, we are having a record-breaking cold snap in many parts of the country. And right on schedule the media have to come up with a way to make it sound like it's completely unprecedented. Because they've got to find a way to attach this to the global warming agenda, and they have. It's called the "polar vortex." The dreaded polar vortex....

Today the Senate is voting on extending unemployment benefits. Rush has been pretty clear about his feelings on the subject by suggesting that unemployment insurance is welfare.

What better time for a Limbaugh fun fact. In the late 1970's Rush worked in the PR department for the Kansas City Royals. After being laid-off Rush had no problem collecting unemployment insurance himself.

That tells you all you need to know about Rush. It is a lot like his staunch anti-drug views. It all applies to other people.

Rush has no problem with unemployment insurance; the issue is extending those benefits for more than 99 weeks. Welcome to Obmaville.

Rush is currently running on two stations at the same time in Los Angeles.

So Clear Channel killed off their liberal talk radio station 1150 KTLK and replaced it with suppsed "libertartian" 1150 AM "The Patriot.

Big deal -still no Alex Jones in Los Angeles -still the same controlled BS Los Angeles radio -guess I will be sticking to my GCN podcasts. And what happened to Michael Savage -I didn't like him till they baned him -that's when I realized he was a good source of information and an ok guy. You know a radio personality is telling the truth when they are blacklisted from mainstream media.

LA Radio is so lame that anyone who mentions Alex Jones name is threatened with being fired and blacklisted in the LA media market. That's why the mainstream dinosaur media is dying in LA.

With that, in the spirit of the new year 2014, politicians and whistleblowers need to realize no one cares what can be dug up about them by the NSA anymore.

WE JUST DON'T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE!

┬┐Comprende?!!!

I think I speak for most Americans when I say, as long as your start standing up for liberty from this point -2014- all politicians can have any hidden scandal unearthed and no one will give a crap as long as they make a pact to put America first from this day forth.

I don't care if my politicians is a hooker chasing closet homosexual with anything goes porn on their computer as long as they lock up some international bankers and set out to impeach Obama.

Let's declare a scandal jublilee for all politicians and whistleblowers who have any kind of scandals real or made up by our criminal federal government and the NSA.

The only meaningful scandal a politician can be guilty of is treason and not standing up for America first.

The rest is now null and void -since it was obtained by illegal spying by unknown unethical criminal thugs.

Hello 2014! Let's have some fun.

He does not have a problem with it? He calls it welfare. Funny how when he is making $50M a year he has disdain for it, but back when he was making $12,000 a year it was a benefit that he was entitled to and needed.

Two things.

1. The issue is extending it beyond 26 weeks. Not 99.

2. The emergency extensions were put in place by GW Bush in 2007?

Welcome to the real world.

I've never heard Rush call unemployment insurance "welfare", can you cite? It is a government entitlement program, like welfare. Are you saying there's something wrong with welfare and its embarrassing to claim unemployment insurance collectors are like welfare recipients?

Welfare is a benefit, many feel entitled to welfare payments and need the money to pay for their phones, TVs, cars and rent. Its just, we're all better off when the economy improves and fewer need welfare and unemployment.

I am no fan of Rush by any means however people often change their minds on issues as time goes by. That isn't unusual. Take Harry Reid for example he used to be opposed to illegal immigration but now he is a staunch supporter of illegal aliens. Some people are too lazy to work so they collect unemployment. In that case it would be a form of welfare, IMO. However, I don't think the majority of Americans are like that so I don't think it can be generalized as welfare.

Entitlement program? It is insurance that people pay in to. Oh wait. That's right. You do not believe in insurance. At least for people besides yourself.

1) Getting into a fight with Les Moonves and getting kicked off the air -Too bad Charley Sheen made the same mistake which ended up ruining Two and A Half Men. I miss that show. Back to Howard...

2) Going to satellite radio -and not back to regular radio -Radio has never been the same since. Come back on regular radio Howard or at least make your podcasts free and available for eveyone damn it! Most people just aren't going to pay for satellite radio.

3) Trusting Obama and the current day Democrats -not like Republifvcks are any better

Howard Stern says he will never vote Democrat again -EVER!

So will Howard Stern appologize to Rush Limbaugh now Lol?

How bad did Democrats screw up by trusting Obama.

Somebody in congress needs to start impeachment procedings right away.

That person will be elected President not long after.

Anyone that goes along with anything Obama does by now is toast next election.

Obama to Democratic Congress/House members:

"If you like your congressional seat, you can keep your congressional seat under obamacare."

This is just my average everyday person's humble opinion

This comes down to liberty vs. tyranny. Who would have ever thought we would see the day where Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh and the FCC all agree on something -Obama is out of control.

Can you cite? I listen to Rush almost every day and I've never heard him say anything like that. Also, if you do a string search for "we didn't lose our best and brightest in Vietnam." you get zero results.

Do you know why they lie about Rush? Rush is right.

I don't agree with him on a lot of things however Rush is making more sense these days. He's a businessman,-even he knows the liberty business is good and it sells. Look what happened to KTALK liberal radio in Los Angeles.-Gone...
