Ahomana Make sure that check history about who has done what and then speak again. Not all you say is true and the main issue in this election is the same as when Keating was defeated in that we are living beyond our means and need to do something about that. It is good to have all these grand ideas but where does the money come from. Europe is a good example and the USA is not far behind in their national debt. The only major country that does not have the problem is Germany. Labor used the surplus fund set up by the Libs/Nats to overcome the GFC and it looks like the Libs/Nats are doing the same using the Energy fund to help getting back into surplus. The Australian society has a very welfare approach to what they want and this is the main difference between Germany and ourselves. The Libs/Nats will win because the trust has gone from Labor as was the case in 2007 when with the Howard govt. And as an aside did you complain when the press lampooned Howard in the 2003 and 2007 elections was that fair, I am not sure but it happens and this time Labor are the ones copping it.

What! because you can't handle the truth...you morons are all about having a go till the boots on the other foot. Abbott has failed his voters, he has failed to cost 3 areas of important policy and yet none of the Rudd knockers use equality to attack Abbott who has clearly lied to the voters....Mean you call that mean?....you need your head examined to see if your brains have fallen out. This is relevant this is important this is what people are going to chose our next PM on...and Rudd has proved he can deliver his costings.....Liberals have lied and failed....

A: I think you had better change your name...under the Howard golden era government spending increased by 3.7% in their final five years current projection for spending growth is at 1.5% so you might want to check your history there...
It is good to have all these grand ideas but where does the money come from.
A: Do you forget their was and is a global crisis under this government when Howard had 12 years of boom and no bust....short memory there bud. there are governing issues that the Liberals never had to face and yet have plagued Labor even now the chinese want for our minerals is drying up and we must adapt, Howard didn't face that problem and there is also the fact that the Aussie dollar had gone through the roof and this was hitting business hard, not the fault of the government but again Howard never had to face this and thanks to Rudd, if Abbott gets in he doesn't have to face it....
Europe is a good example and the USA is not far behind in their national debt.
A: This global crises was caused by the greed of big business and banks...the reason the banks stayed solvent in Australia is that the Rudd government guaranteed your money and mine. something the Liberals haven't and will never have to face..
The only major country that does not have the problem is Germany.
A: I believe there are six countries like like Germany Australia being one of them...and take note it is the only one with a tripple A rating....and that is Rudds Australia....you know what that means.... it means they trust on the back of sale of our products we CAN pay our debts....

cont:Labor used the surplus fund set up by the Libs/Nats to overcome the GFC and it looks like the Libs/Nats are doing the same using the Energy fund to help getting back into surplus.
A: Again this should not be the case you cannot rob Peter to pay Paul there should be a law against government using breaking into stored money and misusing it to suit their purpose....and no one should accept it as right.
The Australian society has a very welfare approach to what they want and this is the main difference between Germany and ourselves.
A: That is bigotry and nonsense.
The Libs/Nats will win because the trust has gone from Labor as was the case in 2007 when with the Howard govt.
A: Yes the trust has gone, but not because Rudd lost it, because the Liberals did what they do best they lie....their biggest lies were over spending and the economy and people bought into it in spades just like that did when Howard went to war in Iraq based purely on lies....if this election had laws to prevent politicians lying and scaremongering the Liberals wouldn't get a look in....
And as an aside did you complain when the press lampooned Howard in the 2003 and 2007 elections was that fair, I am not sure but it happens and this time Labor are the ones copping it.
A: Over what! the fact that Howard lied about the children overboard affair....that was a biggie! NO, I didn't because he lied.
How about the war in Iraq based purely on Howard"s lies and scaremongering, did I defend him wasting billions of tax payer dollars and getting our military killed on a PM's bad decission...NO because he lied.
Let's do work choices now that only benefited big business, that saw the implementation of the 457 visa's so easy to rort and to allow in foreign workers in to put Australians out of work and drop wages, so that big business could swim in their oceans of bigger profits...or how a 16 year old could negotiate his own contract with a boss with no help?...or how the permanent jobs for Aussies are now mostly on a contractual basis, temp and casual employment not allowing security for the average JOE to get loans to buy a car home etc....did I stand up then for Howard? NO FECKIN' WAY...Howard like all liberals are not for Australia...under Liberals the business monopolies have thrived and choice has died......we should get on to their 12 years of neglect of infrastructure, but if you read your history you will know eh! fat chance methinks

Only if you listen to mainstream media....They love ripping into Rudd and Labor.....funny how they leave the Libs and RAbbott alone though....lucky them...
ABC is virtually like a Public Relations branch for KRudd and channel 7's Mark Riley is like a freelance PR agent for Labor, so it works both ways.

Anyway, I guess all will be revealed at 8 or 9 pm tonight.

Your mainstream media is pro-Labor. Especially ABC and SBS. Left Wing.
The Laborites in this thread blame the media for the petty socialist civil war that has destroyed current Labor.

By not electing me you have made my controllers in China very mad. I will have to bend over for chairman Mao when I get home now.
"You can't stop me I am KEVIN RUDD and I have a hair dryer." LOL!

Is that the same hairdryer you had a meltdown over in Afghanistan??
" Prime Minister "threw a wobbly" when a hairdryer could not be immediately found. The alleged incident occurred when Mr Rudd and a small entourage made a top-secret dash into Afghanistan just before Christmas last year."

Heard THAT was also a woman as well. Gee Kevvy, you don't mind having shots at working class women, do you Kev?

Between that, the poor RAAF stewardess not serving you the 'right' food (you KNOW, the one you reduced to tears).
"he reduced a young female RAAF cabin attendant to tears with a tirade of abuse because he did not get a meal he wanted during a VIP flight."

Then there was the makeup artist that you were, well, a PIG too?
I bet you anything you wouldn't speak to me or another man like that lest you cop one in the chops, you dirty coward.

Are you going to have a good cry for yourself tonight Kevvy after you are booted out? Never mind, I'm sure your wife's 300 million made with government employment contracts (awarded by, coincidentally I'm sure, the Labor Govt of the day) to console you Lord Fauntleroy.

It's sad that the uneducated here have voted for austerity cuts. Liberal has made no secrets of it. We are going to model the uk and possibly the Great Depression in economic practice and policy.

That's democracy in action, the educated decided that they had enough of Labor's wanton spending; the corruption; the internal power struggles; the failed policies; the leadership being tossed around like a football; the massive debt that my future grandkids will have to pay etc .

That's democracy.

If Liberals screw up, they too will pay the price.

Ah well, this is nicely balanced by Labor's public relation tv networks, also known as ABC and SBS. Then there's Kerry Stokes' attempted win via channel 7 for the Labor party.

In the end, regardless, the people ultimately make the final decision.
