The melting is still happening. The ones who have had the most difficult time assimilating are the Anglo-Saxon-Teuton people.
They enslaved the blacks, killed and drove off the native Americans, and were very slow in accepting the southern Europeans.
Even they didn't like each other when they first arrived, exhibit A, Appalachia.
The Anglo-Saxon-Teuton people have been the most un-assimilable people in the New World. Exhibit B, The Tea Party.
Samael Aun Weor stated it succinctly when he said the mixing was much easier in Latin America.
How many times have I argued that the United States is NOT America?
The Anglo-Saxon-Teuton people are still at it. Now they want o steal the name America when in reality it belongs to this entire New World, both north and south (North America, South America.)

What is this country's rich culture and heritage? This country is still in the making. What you call this country's rich cultural heritage is made up mostly of Anglo-Saxon-Teuton culture. Stop and think about it for a moment.
<quoted text>
No one is trying to change it. It's being changed as more cultures and ethnicities other than Anglo-Saxon-Teuton are added to the melting pot.
<quoted text>
Rather than adapting to ours? Bingo!!!!!
That's the problem! You think it's all yours (Anglo-Saxon-Teuton) and it's NOT! This country is still in the making. Dr. Poesnecker said it's barely in it's adolescent years. It's not an adult yet, it's still maturing.
You should expect to see more changes and instead you say it's not acceptable.
Believe me, changes are coming. You're going to see the Latin/Hispanic culture become a greater art of this country.
This country's heritage and culture is based on a white European British one. Sorry, that offends you so much. Are you also offended that Mexico's culture is Hispanic in nature along with the Spanish language, hypocrite?

Yes, we have non-white ethnic groups and races that are also Americans. No one is denying that but they are minorities living within the main culture. Sorry that offends you so much. The melting pot simply means assimilating to the main one.

This country is still in the making? Don't make me laugh! I don't have a problem with legal immigration from anywhere as long as it is legal and diversified. Hispanics taking over via illegal immigration is not natural nor lawful and it certainly isn't diversity! From your post it is pretty plain that you want a Hispanic takeover even if it is through illegal immigration. Hispanics are already the dominant ethnic group in 23 countries on the Western Hemisphere. You want this country also?

Kind of racist to deny whites being a dominant force in this country since they have been since its founding, isn't it? Yet again, I am sure you have no problem with Hispanics dominating Mexico. Why is that? What if millions of Chinese illegal aliens invaded Mexico and changed their country from a Hispanic one to an Asian one in identity and Mexico's dominant language were to become Mandarin, hypocrite?

Oh stop with the dragging up of history. Those people are all dead now on both sides! Throughout history lands and peoples have been conquered all over the world. Get your head out of the past. Why mention white people anyway? It was the Europeans who came over here and that includes your Spanish ancestors who did the same thing as any other European did back then and they weren't Anglo-Saxons, you idiot!

The word "America" has been used to describe the U.S. all over the world forever now so WTH are you rambling and nit-picking about? God, what a whiner!

If it's all in the grand scheme of things I have no problem with it.

However, Asians invading Mexico isn't in the grand scheme of things.

Whereas, bringing about the world wide brotherhood is certainly in the grand scheme of things.

We need 50 cal. machine guns spaced about 20 feet apart down along the ENTIRE U.S./ Mexican border, with strict orders to shoot to kill anyone attempting to cross into the U.S.A. illegally.

At the same time, we need 1,000,000 dump truck, each staffed with a dozen well armed soldiers, whos mission is to locate ALL illegals inside of our borders, and pile them into the truck to be hauled back to the border and dumped out.

..........also..........shoot ANY illegals who resist or run.

Wow, straight out of the Nazi playbook. Thanks for exposing yourself. Just what brotherhood? The Spanish? You mean those white European conquerors? LOL! Or do you mean those with so-called native American blood who warred with each other and never shared a brotherhood among tribes. The descendants of the tribes that were indigenous to THIS country are full fledged citizens of this country. Do you actually think they want their country flooded with Mexicans who tribes weren't even indigenous to THIS country? LOL!

I was born here and assimilated to the USA's culture. I didn't "come" here. Speaking of vanquishing how about those white, European ancestors of yours, hypocrite!

U.S. Reps. Beto O'Rourke and Steve Pearce on Thursday announced filing a bill that would allow review of cases involving families that have been separated by immigration laws.
"Yesterday, I filed a bill along side Republican Steve Pearce of New Mexico to bring justice to U.S. citizens that are separated from their families," said O'Rourke, D-El Paso.
The American Families United Act is a bipartisan immigration bill that would grant discretionary authority to judges and officials from the Department of Homeland Security to review cases in which families have been split by immigration laws. The officials would review the cases to decide whether relief is in the public interest.
"I am proud to work across party lines to allow justice for wrongfully separated families with my good friend Congressman O'Rourke," Pearce said.
"I have long said that we should never split up families, and today's proposed law allows the careful and sensible evaluation of cases where American families have been wrongly separated, but still makes sure that our immigration laws are upheld."
This is the most beautiful news. I have loved living in this country until the day my poor, dear, sweet husband was made to leave. We were having a fourth of July party at home last summer after enjoying all the fireworks when we ran out of cerveza. He agreed to go to the wine club to get some more even though I objected since he doesn't have papers yet. When he finally got the car started, he roared off into the night but I never see him again. Two weeks later his mother call me to say that racist police stop him and hold him on trumped up charges. When they find out he was immigrant, they made him leave the country. I have been raising our son, Pablo Jr. all alone since then. He is a wonderful boy who is working towards his doctorate. He just recently completed the 6th grade and he will be so happy to hear that his father can come back home to us when this law is passed. May God bless Beto and those who are working hard to reunite families here.

If you husband didn't come here with papers in hand but illegally instead he only has himself to blame. Stop blaming this country and its citizens for having immigration laws just like every other country does.

Racist police stop? Oh stop with the BS. If your husband had his legal papers with him this wouldn't have been an issue. Found out he was an "immigrant"? Um no, if he didn't have papers he was an illegal alien. Learn to know the difference.

Why can't you reunite with him in his own country if you love him so much. The U.S. is the only country that couples can unite in?

Thank you for your concern. We prefer to live here, in the land of the free. Plus my son love it here and it getting such a good education. I couldn't leave until he gets his doctorate diploma. I had thought of going to visit him for the holidays but now he can join us with this new law about to be on the books.

I didn't say the policeman was racist, that was what my mother-in-law say when she called to tell me the news. I'm not an expert on immigration so I don't know all the terms but we were quite happy here until he get detained. All he was trying to do was be good host to our friends to keep the party going.

Finally, I am not blaming this country at all. I love it here and am becoming patriot like you. Just this past week I learn the words to America the Beautiful and sing it at the top of my lung. Hopefully soon we can all be reunited here as one happy family. My son will be so proud to have his father home.
