This is the wealth of the Walton family, remember they still own over half of Walmart. Even with share holders. You are sure this would be a drop in the bucket them if they paid just a little more! I am not so sure. In fact I would support the "strengthening the dollar" effect that a slight lowering of wages ! When I started off in life, the minimum wage was around $2.00 PH, Gasoline cost $.30 a Gal. gold was at $ 35.00 an ounce, silver was at $1.00 . I bought my first home at $ 14,000, RE taxes were $300.+ Interest was 6% heating oil was $.15.9 a gal. I was earning a little over $ 3.00 PH. With overtime and my spouse's salary, we made a little over $ 10K a year. I always scratched for "side money" which I valued at 2-1 the money I earned working. This might take the form of odd jobs or buying stocks that paid dividends. Because of my independent streak and my personal jealousy of the bosses, I frequently changed jobs. And I frequently had no Health Ins for a month or so. I noticed with some alarm, the inflation that was eroding the purchasing power of savings accounts. Democrat socialists were always coming up with ways to spread the wealth, My wealth and people in my position's wealth through higher taxes and the printing of more paper money. It was a "Keep em' down" game , and it still goes on! No one profits, except them! And it should end!
You spent yours and now you want mine!

Yet the taxpayers still subsidize their employees who are on welfare because they don't pay people enough to make a decent living. FYI your lucky enough to have a spouse lots of others to have another financial resource. You need to wake up. Oh lets not forget 2015 taxes hike for gas at .76 more for taxpayers.
