Under the proposed bill they may not be able to vote in 13-15 years but this matter is very close to the hearts of all voting Latinos after they were all been demonized by hate groups associated with the Republican party that they always supported until this issue came along with all the Hispanic bashing that goes with it that has driven them into the Democratic camp since, only a good faith gesture can make amends to the damage already done so call Congress tell them to start that healing process now.
The healing process will began when the Hispanic Americans come out of the shadows and stand against amnesty for 11 million illegal aliens, with 6.6 million of them being Mexicans!

Rubio can't even call them what they are,"Illegal Aliens"!

" Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida argued this morning on "This Week" that a key provision of the bill, the so-called "pathway to citizenship" for undocumented immigrants, would not give anything away".

Sure it does Senator, it gives or sells our American citizenship to 11 million illegal aliens that broke our Immigration Laws to get here!

It's sad when some politicians and segments of our population want to degrade our American Citizenship to the point where it has no value or meaning.

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

Do you realize that these 11 million people work here cause there's no point being here illegally without having a job ? Remove in a short amount of time 11 millions from the economy and you'll see the results. If they would stop working for a week it would be a disaster let alone to remove them completely. I'll just give you an example : In NYC more than 90% of the people working in restaurants are illegals. If you remove them NYC is a DEAD city. You really underestimate the contribution these people are making as we speak to US economy and this will get bigger once the get papers because they won't send all their money back home. They will start investing in houses, businesses thus giving a boost to the economy.
You underestimate this: Most come for a Welfare check. Obama and Holder made the Banks give out loans to them and of course they didnt pay it back. Don't tell me they invest much, America pays the Bulk and these people send money back to Mexico. I doubt if they have Welfare and FoodStamps for all. Nyc might have some illegals but the border cities have3/4. They suffer the most from these people. You don't mention anything about all the crime they commit. You don't think their a drain on economy? So America should turn 3rd world in order to support them.

Do you honestly believe that this country had no restaurants before we had illegal immigrants? Or gardeners and lawn cutting companies? House and business cleaning companies?

We did, but now all those jobs pay a lot less than they used to because there is so much labor that is cheap and available.

Do you know how many American born adults today worked in restaurants as buss boys (or girls), servers or cooks? And yes, even dishwashers.

No, you don't, because you believe in that "jobs Americans won't do" BS. But America got along just fine before the influx of illegal labor.

One of my nephews worked for a lawn maintenance company back in the late eighties...worked there for two and a half years before he started his own company. He started at $12 an hour. Then illegal labor infiltrated that trade, and now it pays signifigantly less. So he went to school and now does landscape design.

As a kid, I used to go in the evenings with my grandfather to his part-time office cleaning job downtown...one of my fondest memories as we would walk down the street from job to job and I got to see all the storefronts decked out with Christmas decorations. I would help him empty garbage pails and ashtrays.

But that job doesn't pay anything anymore, either, unless you're illegal and do it off the books.

Many of those "eleven million" are going to find themselves aligned with fellow Americans if they go legal...competing with illegal labor for service jobs, manufacturing and lower to mid skilled trades.

How is adding eleven million more workers to a dismal job market and no-growth economy going to help anything?

Bank of America to shut down lending division

NEW YORK (AP)- Bank of America is closing down one of its mortgage units.

The Charlotte, N.C. bank put its "correspondent lending" business up for
sale on Aug. 31. It couldn't find a suitable buyer and has decided to close
the business by the end of the year, said bank spokesman Terry Francisco.

The division financed mortgage loans from small lenders such as credit
unions.

Bank of America Corp. acquired the business as part of its 2008 purchase of
mortgage lender Countrywide Financial Corp. In the first half of the year,
it financed $50 billion in mortgage loans. The bank hopes to transition the
1,200 employees in the unit into other jobs within the company.

Bank of America has been shedding assets in an effort to focus on its core
banking business.

If that was true, then if they returned to their land of origin it would provide a major boost in that economy and have a greater benefit for many more people.
Today the figures came out on unemployment in Mexico and here. 7.4% in this Country, 5.2% in Mexihell. There are job's there, plenty of them. We don't want to make any more legal Americans compete with the shitty job situation we're experiencing. And the doo doo heads in Washington are high on Metamucil and don't know what the F#$k is going on out here.

Unlike most Republicans that associate themselves with the Tea Party, Rubio realizes that compromise and working across the aisle is the only way to get things done. Tea partiers that refuse to compromise and continue to denegrate their fellow Republicans need to be voted out of office. It is one thing to want values but another to stop legislation because you aren't getting your own way. Doing that strengthens the Liberals and will destroy Republican party for good. Who will then at least attempt to keep some of the morals left in this country? So if you can't/won't compromise at all, resign your seat and allow someone who will strengthen the party, not destroy it.
maybe obama should.resign hes doing a bad job.we dont have to make people legal, its not a right.thank god we have republicans they will not allow this to hsppen.

Obama Flip Flops:

1996:"I favor legalizing same-sex marriages" was an answer included on a signed questionnaire to a Chicago gay community newspaper when Mr. Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. In 2011, a White House aide said someone else filled it out.

2004: As a U.S. Senate candidate, Mr. Obama tells Chicago public television "marriage is between a man and a woman." In the same interview, Mr. Obama said he wanted to ensure gays and lesbians have "the rights of citizenship" but noted,"I don't think marriage is a civil right."

2008: Mr. Obama, running for president, again says marriage should be limited to unions between a man and a woman."For me as a Christian, it's also a sacred union. God's in the mix," he says in an interview with the Rev. Rick Warren, a leading evangelical minister.

2010: After signing the repeal of a ban on gays openly serving in the military, Mr. Obama tells reporters that "my feelings are constantly evolving" on gay marriage.

2011:"I'm still working on it," Mr. Obama tells ABC News when asked if he would change his mind on gay marriage before the 2012 election.

2012:"I think same-sex couples should be able to get married," Mr. Obama tells an interviewer for ABC.

if you want to know the truth, I voted for obama in 2008 because of his excellent speech.. which turned out to be a complete lie. and the biggest mistake I made in my life.

in 2012 election, I didn't vote because I have no faith in any of the candidates. they are all kiss-as#, flip flop types who will lie about anything and everything to get into office.

regarding romney, he has mexican roots which pretty much make him a pro-illegal. the only person I would consider for the office of the president is ross perot. and only if he were younger.

mccain, jeb bush, EVERY democrat, and most of the others have proven they are pro-illegal. and have the interests of the usa at the bottom of the barrel.

by the end of this term, I fully expect to see vigilantes to appear all over the nation. and by the end of this decade, full fledge civil war.
