It's pretty logical that legalizing the immigrants would boost the economy and you don't need a major in economy to see that.
If that was true, then if they returned to their land of origin it would provide a major boost in that economy and have a greater benefit for many more people.

I'm have a major in finance so please don't push crap that my way.
Kole G
And what does a major in finance have to do with development economics?

A major in finance would make you a financial manager, planner or analyst...maybe a corporate financial officer or work in investment banking.

Development and development economics majors are completely different.

But then, if you have a major in finance, you should have already known that.

That's what she does all day. She thinks if she repeats the same lie over and over it might eventually be viewed as the truth. That tactic does work in cases where what is being said isn't such a blatant falsehood. As a matter of fact, it's what the media does to get the people to accept ridiculous laws and candidates.

i was just wondering, the legal immigrants who came here legally and played by the rules all these years. For example, they paid taxes. social security etc... so the illegals can get medical and free benefits, would these people be able get a refund if the immigration bill passed and giving citizenship to all the illigels here. No one is addressing the issue of the Legal immigrants who lived and paid taxes for over ten years and never collected benefits. The hiring discrimination is so high among these people when they do loses there job.
Just wondering....

The woman applying for a job in a Florida lemon
grove seemed to be far too qualified for the job.
She had a liberal arts degree from the University of Michigan
and had worked as a social worker and school teacher.
The foreman frowned and said, "I have to ask you,
have you had any actual experience in picking lemons?"

"Well, as a matter of fact, I have!
I've been divorced three times, owned 2 Chryslers
and voted for Obama."

Rubio is speaking the words of big money. He doesn't care about this country, is economy or its people. He's just repeating what his big money benefactors tell him to say.

Catholic from Europe. Is that supposed to mean something? Do you think that entitles you?
Why are you here if you feel of America as you do? Why come live where you don't like, much less leave Europe...will you answer this, Honestly?
And Yes, I think you should go back. I do not hide that I am not big on immigration of any kind. Especially From South America or Muslims. I am not a Euro myself. My People have been here for Centuries before ones as you decided it was alright to wipe us off the Planet for our lands and the gold therein. You have more representation in COngress than my People, you think that entitles you as well, no doubt. But I say Right is Right and wrong is wrong, regardless of the Political atmosphere.
What do YOU think you add to this Land? Please be specific, no general BS about how much yours have done,blah,blah...what have you done to improve My Homeland?

"and I got three of them"...You think that is proper English? Did you take English for any of your ..ahem..degrees? It hardly matters what papers you posses if you can't apply them in Practicality. As Cricked to aptly points out. I understand 2011, I owned an RV Park, and just managed a year later to sell it. No one was traveling. As an artist, my head was among the first to be chopped. I lost over 4,000 in Commissioned work due to 9/11 as well. This is the worst time in my life for the economy. But I would do other jobs, not thinking they were beneath me. Even though I have a "degree". Only one, but it took several years to acquire. The good it has done me is one cannot take an education away. Making me better off or better "of", as you would say...... Probably. Than who though? It is still about survival. And that one gets thru experience. You cannot learn common sense, no matter how many degrees you have, btw. And this is one of the best survival skills to have.
I have known many an educated fool.

Post 146 you claim to be American born, Post 156 you decide you Came here from Europe. You may want to stick with One Lie here. Just like Backing Muslims, then your Catholic. Either way your screwed. Paganism, Pedophilia,Corruption. I can see where you get the two confused though....Decide and stick with one, just because you can't handle being pegged and wish to flip-flop.
Who would want a pathological liar employed? Perhaps Counseling, then seek Work.

Do you realize that these 11 million people work here cause there's no point being here illegally without having a job ? Remove in a short amount of time 11 millions from the economy and you'll see the results. If they would stop working for a week it would be a disaster let alone to remove them completely. I'll just give you an example : In NYC more than 90% of the people working in restaurants are illegals. If you remove them NYC is a DEAD city. You really underestimate the contribution these people are making as we speak to US economy and this will get bigger once the get papers because they won't send all their money back home. They will start investing in houses, businesses thus giving a boost to the economy.

I interacted with Latinos a lot and happen to be friendly with many, from my experience with them if Rubio goes out on a limb on this issue that is so dear to them considering voting for him ahead of any Democrat or Republican will not even be a question.
The question is why do you have to be the spoke person for the legal and illegal Latinos?
