Just like fishing. Throw the small ones back until they get bigger. Why deport shop lifters. Release them and wait until they commit robery or murder.

l.a. has had twisted rules on illegal aliens for decades. special order 40 for starters.

if they got rid of illegal aliens that mayor would have no supporters and the cost to that town to run would go down do to the high cost of illegal aliens which is bankrupting the whole state.

most of the most wanted criminals are illegal aliens, seems to be a breeding ground for crime.

I haven't been to L.A. for several years and I have no want to go back. I am not in to smog, drugs, gang bangers, and narcissists not to mention the rude ass people like you. There are few business opportunities there anymore since most companies that were there have fled the city and in many cases the state. Granting immunity to a group of criminals just because of their ethnic background so that a few criminal politicians can keep their jobs only make L.A. a less desirable place to be.

You are such a hypocrite what about the millions we pay to feed all legal whites blacks in prison year after years. Murderes robbers arsonist and people who do fraud... Taking illegals out will probably reduce population but will not solve the overall problem of america. Crime will be done with or without immigrants. And not all immigrants are bad i know a couple that pay taxes and live a normal life and are not criminals.

So what about American criminals? That is not the subject. The subject is releasing criminals back into the United States to victimize more people when they should be deported I am not the hypocrite here you are. It is o.k. in your mind to punish white and black Americans for their crimes but not illegal aliens.

I agree with you about the corruption. Just look at how corrupt the LAPD is. They are openly violating federal law and protecting criminals. Look at how the DoJ is turning a blind eye to this corruption and persecuting those who enforce the law.

You're advocating a rule of law here yet neither LA City or ICE has the resources to apprehend every single illegal alien in the area.

You have to understand that when a person is arrested for a petty crime in the City of LA, they goto a city jail. On most non-violent misdemeanors or infractions the subject is released on his own recognizance with a promise to appear in court at a later date. Their immigration status is not checked at the City level.

If a person commits a crime in the City of LA and it's a more serious crime e.g. felony or above they are sent to the LA County prison and the LA County prison has a 287(g) Secure Communities program that checks every inmates immigration status. When an illegal alien is detected the info is forwarded to ICE and ICE has the discretion of placing a hold on the subject.

So just remember, if a crime is committed in the City of LA and the subject goes to County jail... their immigration status is checked so don't think that illegals are not getting checked in Los Angeles. They are being checked but only the more serious criminal aliens are getting identified and forwarded to ICE.

I know you want to see illegals who're minding their own business get deported but that's not the policy that either ICE or LA City is endorsing at this time.

If you want to call that gov't corruption then go ahead.. you'll not change it unless you get Congress to pass legislation that mandates all cities, counties & states to incorporate 287(g) programs and appropriate the proper funding.

SO what do they consider minor crimes? Drunk driving, ID theft, sex crimes?

Keep this in mind, LA County Sheriff have a 287(g) Secure Communities Program. If the crime that an illegal alien commits in the City of Los Angeles is serious enough, the subject is then given to the LA County Sheriff, they will have their immigration status checked.

A first time DUI no accident is usually a misdemeanor so chances are they will spend that jail time in the LA City jail and be released. More serious felony DUI offenses and the subject will be given to the LA County Sheriff dept. ID theft & Sex Crimes are a felony and the subject will be handed over to the LA County Sheriff.

Even illegals minding their own business are still law breakers if they are not making any attempt to begin the legalization process.
But given the benefit of doubt i guess release them with some kind of fine etc.

Those committing minor crimes and being released usually go on to bigger and worse crimes.
Those are the one that need to be detained and deported!
