So they are consumers increasing the demand for more labor...at a 7 11? They also create a demand for more teachers and schools and prison guards and jails which the taxpayers are required to fund. They are not taxpayers if they pay sales tax on bread and milk they are merely consumers...but they consume much more services than they pay for...I wonder if your liberal think tanks ever mention that

Don't matter, they still do it today, even more so since the Obama administration stopped ICE work place raids. Nowadays, ICE only does paperwork raids.

But School teachers, Prison wardens, bus drivers, case workers; these roles will all be filled by Americans who will then pump that money back into the economy and pay taxes to the stae on top.

It certainly appears that you are typing a comment to yourself. As NONE of that which you have submitted is "FACTS". Rather it is slanted CONJECTURE utilized to advance an ERRANT position. The REAL "FACTS" are the BOTTOM LINE. And the evidence which I have submitted is IRREFUTABLE. And the FACT that you maintain and promote an ERRANT position is "sad" indeed. Not to mention that it could be construed as being treasonous.
Sorry, but facts are indeed facts; the results of multiple studies requiring intense research are not conjecture. You don't like the truth, that's your bottom line, but it doesn't change reality. You and others like you don't want to accept reality, so you deny it. You'll deny reality up until the time you either accept it or drown in it, your choice. You can shoot the messenger, but you can't escape facts. You live in an alternate universe of your creation, and keep telling yourself up is down, but the rest of the world, the real world, merely laughs at your tantrum and moves on. Elections will come and go, you will be left watching from the curb with no say in matters because you can't handle the truth.

You really should read the entire post, that is unless you are afraid to leave your chosen position as outlier. The research was conducted by people on both sides of the political spectrum, and results line up with other results conducted by many other people. I know it must be hard to find out you are hostile to the truth, and can't accept that you are wrong about something, but you will not grow as a person if you don't learn, no matter how hard it might be. The alternative is that you don't want to know the truth, that you are set on a path of hate and lies; which is fine but at least have the courage to admit it.

Sorry, but CONJECTURE can hardly be considered as 'facts'. While the sources I quoted ARE actually COLD, HARD, FACTS. Tell me, if your socialist model is so correct. Then why are so many illegals returning to their home countries?

'No one has the right to break laws to improve their lives while reducing the quality of life for others who do have a right to be in this country.'
Which is we need to change the laws to allow guest workers.
'Let me give you an example of the construction industry. Many Americans used to do those jobs and yes it is a trade but they got their wages reduced and even lost their jobs to cheap, illegal labor.'
That is a myth long debunked by countless studies; native workers are so unaffected by illegal labor that it is statistically insignificant. Do you really believe that someone, anyone, would willing take less money for a job if they knew the next guy was getting paid more for the same work?
'If a business can't succeed without breaking the law then they have no business staying in business. There are many businesses who are successful without hiring illegal aliens and breaking our laws. Who do you think you are kidding?'
When businesses can't get their work done with the aid of illegals, and Americans won't do the work (well documented in the agribusiness world, btw, even when offering double the minimum wage,) then American consumers will pay the price in many ways: lost businesses, higher prices, higher imports. It's like cutting your nose off to spite your face.
'There is no benefit to us regular American taxpayers by having illegal aliens here.'
Again, there are numerous studies that prove this to be wrong. The fact is illegals work at all levels of the economy, from blue collar to white collar. In one study conducted by the Census Bureau, I believe, which looked at the four cities in the USA with the highest percentage of illegals, it was found that those local economies fared much better during recessions. They suffered the effects of recession later than the national average and recovered faster than the national average.
'They steal American jobs and taxes.'
Ridiculous.
'Our taxes have to cover their social costs because their greedy employers pass this expense on to us.'
Illegals pay a much larger percentage of their meager incomes in taxes and fees and get very little in return. They are in fact are helping to support the economy and not getting the benefits you do.
Just another clueless pro-illegal spouting crap. We already have several guest worker programs in place. We don't need guest worker programs for the unskilled, uneducated and who don't even speak English to do jobs that Americans have always done for a fair wage. We end up subsidizing their social costs also. The construction industry of which they flooded is a prime example of that. Since when did Americans all of a sudden decide they won't do those jobs? Many of the jobs illegals are holding are entry level jobs for our own youth also.
You keep spouting the same old crap. It isn't that the employers can't find American workers it is just that they don't want to pay them a fair wage so they hire illegals instead. It is all about their bottom line of increasing their profits, period! As for the ag industry there are already unlimited H-2A visas for LEGAL foreign workers. So you were saying? Only 3% of illegals are working in that industry anyway.

CONTINUED:

I don't know what leftist propaganda that you are buying that illegals are a net benefit to our country. They aren't! If the jobs they were holding were to open up for Americans by deporting these illegals or implementing e-verify across the board those Americans would in turn be contributing to our economy rather than getting welfare and unemployment.
Your so full of shit in regards to what illegals pay in income taxes. Many work under the table and don't contribute any. Others get paid so little that any taxes they pay in they get back in the form of refund and many get back more than they paid in through the Earned Income Credit via their numerous dependants. Most don't have health insurance so guess who gets to pay for their healthcare issues?
I have no further need to discuss this issue with you. The bottom line is that illegals have no right to be here nor to work here. Not that you give a damn about our immigration and labor laws or American citizens. I sure hope you aren't a citizen of this country with your anti-American attitude. BYE!

Your conjecture was already dispelled with ACTUAL FACTS. That other quote was RIGHT ON TOPIC. And proves just how mistaken your treasonous 'open border' policy is. The illegal aliens see the writing on the wall. They would much rather deal with the corruption back in their home country. Then a vile treasonous government that betrays its own people. Such as is the current government we have here in our Constitutional Republic.

Your delusional state is the REAL downward spiral. And I have no "deep hate" at all for ANYONE. Except of course for the traitors attempting to destroy my country. I've grown up around Mexicans and Mexican-Americans my whole life. My ol' lady is Mexican-American, you blinded lieberal. And I've found that many people of Mexican descent are some of the most caring, hard-working, kind, and loving people that you can meet. And guess what, lieberal? THEY DETEST THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE DOES. Go peddle your poison somewhere else.

To call what we have now for temporary laborers in this country a guest worker program is like saying you are a PhD.(Not to make unwarranted assumptions, but I could tell from your remarks that you loiter somewhere south of that metric, like the 3rd or 4th grade.)

Under the current H-2 workers are 'wedded' to an employer, which means stuck; if the employer abuses the worker in any way there is no recourse. Workers get blacklisted, deported, and suffer mightily under H-2.

Many attempts have been paid to pay Americans to work in the industries who use illegals, but guess what? They don't show up, even with wage enhancements, free room and board, and even meals. And, once again, you choose to repeat long debunked myths about industry detraction from illegal workers, so you didn't bother to read the cited studies obviously. Probably too much bother for such a genius as yourself.

How about >you< "loiter somewhere south" of the border?

Guess you aren't familiar with the travails of the Chinese, Germans, Irish, Italians, Polish and other LEGAL immigrants that came here, eh? And how they suffered at the hands of corrupt businesses backed by an even more corrupt government? Take your little [fake] trail of tears down south of the Rio Grande.
