Border security quandary could kill immigration bill Border security...

Apr 2, 2013 Full story: USA Today 88

As Washington considers a sweeping immigration bill that could legalize the nation's 11 million illegal immigrants, one point of disagreement is how best to secure the 1,969-mile Southwest border with Mexico to hold off future waves of people.

I know. The best find in 15 years has been an Omega watch. It could have been worth more than what I got for it but I got a bunch, considering what I paid for it.

If the current Republican leadership wouldn't bring the Everify law up for a vote last year, what makes anyone think that Republicans are in any way concerned with border security or any other American safeguard? The Republican leadership are like Democrats when it comes to amnesty which makes them supremely stupid because they actually think that this will increase their electability. Boehner fought the Everify bill and now he wants us to believe he favors tough border security. He should be the new tonite show host because that's the biggest joke of all time. Republicans used to represent Americans on immigration but with Boehner, that is definitely out. My question is, what exactly are these neocon Republicans offering to the American worker?

this PRESENT dictatorship, is such an embarrassment to patriotic and loyal citizens! I'm even hesitant to say his name, let alone put the president before his name....this is the most uncomfortable feeling to feel ashamed of our administration.

The Republicans were all for amnesty until the voters crashed their swithboard 2 days in a row. Then they backed off. Those bad boys, and girls vote. Politicians love their cushy jobs, and great benefits. They will back off if their reelection is threatened.

Obama has already demonstrated that he does not intend to enforce any immigration laws at all. Why would he enforce any new ones?

Beware of the bait and switch. I'am betting on the 435 members of the republican controlled House to kill this amnesty dead.

In which part is the wording to kill sanctuary cities? Stop birthright citizenship? 100% E-Verify all workers? I want to see the Senate bill, i need cheering up and a good laugh.

Petition Opposing 'Gang of Eight' Amnesty.(link @ bottom)

"President Obama, Your 2 U.S. Senators, Your U.S. Representative, and Your State's Governor
Street Address
City, State Zip

Dear President Obama, Your 2 U.S. Senators, Your U.S. Representative, and Your State's Governor,

More than 250,000 people have signed this petition.

I oppose the Senate Gang of Eight's amnesty proposal to legalize millions of illegal immigrants in a time of budget deficit crisis and high unemployment.

Combined with current laws, the legalization would be a pathway to massive new welfare expenditures, job competition, chain migration and more illegal immigration.

1. It would cost trillions of dollars in extra government spending on social services.

2. It would immediately put millions of illegal aliens in front of the employment line to hold or take U.S. jobs while 20 million Americans who want a full-time job can't find one.

3. It would allow amnestied aliens to begin endless chains of relatives to come and add further competition for jobs and government resources.

4. It would immediately legalize 11 million illegal aliens without requiring triggers that fully implement enforcement first. The previous seven amnesties between 1986 and 2000 had no enforcement triggers and served only to entice 11 million new illegal immigrants who now demand their own amnesty.

Sincerely,

First Name Last Name"

I know Republicans will filibuster the gun control legislation, are they doing the same thing to the illegal alien reform bill? Hope so. Finally we are seeing how government is supposed to work. By Representing the people.
Right now between Obama trying to hide and keep some of ObamaCareTax from implementing before the 2014 elections because of the taxes and what they will do to family budgets, and his recent attacks on the second amendment, the libs are in a panic of what public opinion will grow to.

It is not the guns they are affraid of, but the use. Lawful citizens will fight them for not adhearing to the constitution. They are affraid we will turn on them. As far as the urba animals, they don't care, they can shoot them down or mow them down and the public will say liitle or at least not object too loudly because it would make us saver as well.

I hope so; that will guarantee a Democrat in the White House in 2016.

You're going to live with it either way.

We said.
Also our friend Jimbo needs to recognize the difference between Obama and genuine lefties like McGovern and McCarthy at the end of the 1960's.
Jimbo just likes using the word Communist with out regard to the fit

The Communist party endorsed Obama both times he ran for election. That is enough proof for me to decide if he is a Communist or not.

The KKK endorsed both McCain in '08 and Romney in '12, so by your logic, that's proof they're both Klansmen.

Can you show us where Byrd did that, we know the communist party endorses Obama, expecially since he is card carrying member.

You obviously haven't been to Kentucky or any of the other confederate states! Google them; they're alive and well, and railing against the first black president, just like you.
