You just proved President Obama’s point… you don’t have solutions so you create a straw man to knock around. The individual mandate was a conservative idea that came out of the Heritage Foundation that was included in the ACA, and that alone destroys your dishonest point about Obama wanting to create people need to be taken care of because the individual mandate requires everyone to purchase health care.
Now can you provide a better solution to the problems that the ACA tries to fix?
Guess you don't understand that everyone has the FREEDOM to take care of themselves.

Mandating that everyone PURCHASE insurance is not freedom.

The government needs to stay OUT of peoples' business and allow them to spend the fruits of their labor as they please.

You KNOW that those who can't afford insurance will be subsidized. Obama doesn't need to create people to be taken care of. There is a long, long, long line of people already standing in line with their 'gimme' hands out. Freedom doesn't ring true when the government establishes itself as a 'nanny' to some, but not to others.

The only solution to blend the 'haves' with the 'have nots' is PURE SOCIALISM. And thank gawd we are not there yet.

FYI, Obamacare did not come out of the Heritage Foundation. That was a lie that was started by the left and continues to be spread by silly folks.

And if you want alternatives, just look. There have been alternatives suggested since before Obama was a Senator. You just weren't paying attention.

A great point. It is only civilized that those that work pay for those that won't. It is the right of each to do so.

Heath care isn't health insurance. In this country anyone can walk into a hospital and get free healthcare.

Having grown up, lived and worked in California, our country gives tens of millions of people from other countries free medical care every year. Name one civilized country that gives free health care to 20 million people who are not citizens every year.

Or admit you still have a few years to go before you finish high school and have a LOT of learning to do.

Well, no kidding. That's why I was wondering if there were any real examples of real people seeing real benefits of the ACA or if this was just another example of liberals making stuff up and the media supporting them.
Since Obama as usual is talking out of both sides of his mouth it is as usual one side for the low information voters and one for the presses talking points. Obama has delayed implementation three times of key elements of the ACA. How can he claim it's working when he won't let it work?

People with checks in their hands prove it. Obama protecting the donut hole for seniors proves it. If you weren't so poor that you had to wait in line at tom cobum's clinic, you would know that. The reds hate it, because they know they can't stop it from becoming as popular as ssi and medicare. Your t-hate of everything runs deep, redsie.

Don't know where you live, but NY is set already to see a minimum 50% drop in healthcare premiums;

The delays you idiot are for companies who have OVER 50 employees, that ALREADY OFFER HEALTHCARE TO THEIR EMPLOYEES - WHICH EQUATES TO 1% DUMMY!

"Employers in that group now have until 2015 to comply. In practical terms this means little, since 94 percent of those employers already provide their employees with health coverage. It’s been estimated that only about 12,000 of employers in this group, who have between 1 million and 1.5 million workers on their payrolls, fail to offer their employees health insurance and would be subject to the penalty. Many of these workers are employed in the retail and restaurant industries. The vast majority of American businesses — 96 percent — have fewer than 50 employees and have never been subject to the employer mandate. This includes most real estate businesses.- See more at: http://www.inman.com/2013/07/05/obamacare-imp... ;

Insurance companies like AARP are loving obamacare. Forced demand is up, premiums are skyrocketing and we thought banks had it good.

Thanks for admitting that virtually all of the bill is flawed and will not work as promised.....and of course Obama sees the sway of public opinion if he lets it begin and the world comes down on his and the liberal party for the pain and upheaval they have caused.

Since premiums increased by over 400% since Obama care was passed it would be nice to see a 50% decrease so premiums are only 200% higher than before Obama care. That of course does not change the 200% increase in deductibles and co-pays but since wages have not increased at even the rate of inflation over the last 5 years and since the actual unemployment rate has held steady any decrease in health costs would be good.

A 400% increase?

Where?

Not in my company. We've had increases, on average 10 - 14%, but we can always negotiate the cost with new employees, etc. So, if you've seen your premiums raise that much,(and I highly doubt your sincerity on this)then you have an extremely stupid and gullible employer, as not one single company I currently do business with has EVER seen this type of increase in 5 years.
