Georgia has a congressman that once said that if we stationed more soldiers on guam, the island might tip over. He replaced Cynthia McKinney, who was even dumber, if that's possible.

Kahan wrote that not only did the findings surprise him, they embarrassed him.

Ive got to confess, though, I found this result surprising. As I pushed the button to run the analysis on my computer, I fully expected Id be shown a modest negative correlation between identifying with the Tea Party and science comprehension, Kahan wrote.

yet the queen of the tea party thinks dinosaurs lived with humans....not sure about that study...
