Steve King: Immigration reform: Amnesty will only expand bloated welfare state

There are 11 comments on the Deseret News story from Jun 9, 2013, titled Steve King: Immigration reform: Amnesty will only expand bloated welfare state. In it, Deseret News reports that:

How can "comprehensive immigration reform" benefit our American children and grandchildren, who will prosper from or suffer the consequences of our decisions? On a planet of 7 billion people, millions would sacrifice a great deal for an opportunity to succeed at the American dream.

You bet it will. Further, goofy Rubio claims the newly gifted illegals won't be able to apply for freebies, but he fails to mention that through their American-born kids, they are already collecting. What's in the bill to curtail their abuse of our free social services in which they probably contributed little to nothing? Is there any mention of ending birthright
citizenship...well, of couse not, that would be too proactive of a move.

The article argues that it's easier to secure our border than to stop the growth of the welfare state. But I think securing our border will definitely help to reduce the size of our welfare state. Without the millions of illegal workers who steal jobs and drive wages down, there will be plenty more opportunities for Americans who would otherwise be relegated to the welfare rolls. On the other hand, increasing the number of workers via amnesty and additional visas will definitely increase the size of the welfare state. It will also send a message to out most vulnerable, unskilled workers that their government favors illegal aliens over them.

That is always a favorite fact for those that don't want to face the real facts, those that choose to see things the way they need too in order to back up what has become Obama's welfare states of America. But the facts really show that of course there are more whites overall in just about any program we have. That is because up until last year we have always had more whites than any other race in our country. Last year for the first time there were more Mexican children born in the US than whites. I don't recall seeing any info on if they were born to legal citizens but there were still more of them born than whites.....for the first time.

Whites have made up the majority of the population throughout the history of our country. SO naturally there would be more whites that graduate, more whites employed, more whites in jail, more whites with college degrees, more whites that have died, more whites that ......etc. It's basic math. THE CATCH....

What matters is the % of whites on welfare compared to the number of whites in the U.S.
What % of blacks are on welfare compared to the number of blacks in America.
What % of Hispanics are on welfare compared to the number of Hispanics in America.

See to really be fair in the math of it all and to say with all honesty that whites use welfare more than blacks or Hispanics you have to look at the %'s of each race on welfare compared to the number of them overall. If a larger % of blacks are on welfare than the % of whites or Hispanics than that would mean that black depend on the welfare system more than whites or Hispanics.

Just because the overall number of one race or another are on welfare doesn't mean that race depends on welfare more than another....it would be the largest % of a race depending on welfare that truly shows the race that lives off the government the most!!!

It's just basic math.

Not in ratio or percentages to their population. The same thing is true with Hispanics. Whites are the majority in this country but percentage wise there are more blacks and Hispanics on welfare than whites.

Ending birthright citizenship in its present form would be the single most important piece of legislation to end illegal immigration and to stop the draining of our welfare coffers. At least one parent should have to be a citizen of this country and when applying for benefits for kids the parents should have to be the qualifiers also not the kids.

Any so-called CIR should include the above or it solves nothing. Not that I am in favor of this legislation anyway because I am not for rewarding illegal aliens with anything. They need to be deported as our laws demand.

Where is Mexico, and the Country's that push their people to break into our Country? Why does America simply accept the millions into our Community's without impunity? Why does this Country have to support the 3rd world? I see and know many Americans that are uninsured and struggling to find health care, all the while, millions of illegals walk into free clinics and emergency rooms everyday and demand care.!!! This reform farce will not change the mind set of South Americans. We deserve all you can give... We shouldn't have to pay one penny for anything. That's the reason I'm on this forum. They are stealing the wealth of this Country, and the resources as well.

depends if you count welfare as a prisoner kept alive in a fruit farm for a variety of anti white anti social crimes
