Skill shortage?? There are a great many million, trained in all sorts of fields who cannot find work. There are many millions more who have given up looking simply because there has been no work for over a decade. And we will now bring in millions more and they will work where?????

Of course some will find jobs, replacing those already doing those jobs; only at a lower salary. It will lower wages and benefits for everyone and the rich will take even more profit.

But these American IT workers cnot work for half price.

Why is unemploymnt in the USA so high, whatever the statistic?
Congress helping big business undercut American workers, to help big business hire cheap foreigners over Americans, here and abroad.

Sure enough, and it has been going on for a very long time. Supply and demand is allowed to flourish, with the government making sure the supply of workers is way more than demand, to lower wages and benefits for all but those at the very top.
