Evangelicals support path to citizenship

Evangelical leaders said Monday they will support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants as part of immigration legislation, the first time they've taken an affirmative stance on the contentious issue.

I can support some sort of adjusted legal status, but I'm not sold on the idea of offering citizenship yet.

I guess I need to see the details on just how that would work.

Overall a move like this works to further isolate the "no compromise" "deport them all" faction of the extreme right.

This isn't about second class citizenry... This is about condoning law breaking, out of wed lock marriages, so they can receive Unites States benefit's. The Church's that get into this habit, are only looking for tithing to fund their Church. It' always amazes me, that Church's including the Mormon Church hide and condone illegals and their behavior's and now, to the peril of the State of Utah. Everyday now days, every murder, rape, robbery, domestic killing's are related to the disgusting new population of illegals in our State. California saw it first, now they're moving everywhere and doing the same thing. And Church's only care about the bottom line.
