How should the US deal with Illegal Immigration?

I have friends who are here legally on a visa and would like to stay here. They have done everything by the book, followed every legal aspect, and are simply being stonewalled. These are people with good educations and work ethics, speak english as well as anyone, and are really trying to live the American dream the legal, official way. Immigration lawyers are bleeding them dry financially, the government basically ignores them, and yet they continue following the rules to become citizens. The illegals, on the other hand, get 'rights' and benefits handed to them on a silver platter and the politicians are tripping over each other to do more for illegals. Maybe our politicos need to shift their concentration to those who ARE following the laws and guidelines, and let the illegals either get shipped back to wherever they came from or start following the immigration rules.

Let's face it folks. People are never going to 100% agree on ANYTHING in this forum, at school, work, church on the streets or in outer space. These are our opinions and we all have them for a reason. I honestly don't believe that statistics have altered our perception in any way of this issue. I think that most of us feel the way we feel because of things that have or things that haven't happened to us personally concerning these things.

You have just pointed out one of the biggest problems with the immigration laws. It shouldn't be that complex or that expensive to process paperwork to be allowed here.

Yes they should...they should do the same with a lot of the politicians. Have you ever seen the movie "Rat race", all of the rich and powerful stand by watching, and laughing, while a bunch of desperate people race, and fight for the money. That is what all of this reminds me of. There are so many common sense ways they could go about this, the problem is...they don't want to. The current immigration laws are the governments "rat race".

First, get rid of Geo. W. Bush (probably by impeachment), who has planned the unconstitutional "North American Union" agenda with Mexico and Canada, along with all of his 'co-planners'. Then, arrest the illegals and their employers, and detain until confiscation of their personal property, or their families, or their country can pay their fines/fees for their release.

Ending the undeclared and thus unconstitutional war with Iraq, We must bring our troops back from Iraq in order to secure and patrol our own borders (Mexican and Canadian).

Aww, BooBoo, you're back. We missed you!!!!! We as an earth did multiply. Hence, we have 7 billion people here. Just because whites don't multiply like rabbits has nothing to do with anything. I think that a couple or person who chooses to have a certain number of children is their business. Do you honestly think that God would want us all to have a hoard of kids and not be able to feed, clothe and house them? And, yes, I understand, and know firsthand, that God will provide, but I don't think that He intends for a man, as head of the household, to feel shame and worthlessness over not being able to take care of his family the way the bible says to. Plus, the more kids you have, the more that both partners have to work, which means, more latchkey kids, more day care, babysitters, kids running the streets, more food stamps, more welfare and more section 8 housing. That makes for a wonderful sounding family life, don'tcha think? God has blessed me and my family and I chose to only have 2 kids. I doubt very seriously that He's holding it against me.

I agree which then increases those that are here illegally. Plus if after paying all the fee's for the attorneys and Government costs than the immigrant is told to go home. They get to go back broke. The immigration system does need to be readdressed.

Poverty is not a benefit,that is one thing they have brought with them, and the list goes on,I want to make sure I am being a nice person, so I wont list the rest...most Americans-Legal USA Citizens...Tax paying...bill paying, working for a decent wage...American... know what I am talking about, all the bagage they brougth with them and they are still coming in...I just read the other day that TB..turburculosios (sp) is being reported more and more and lice and that list goes on and on, i read that on the news.I never had lice in my life until my child years ago went to a first grade class and the hispanic and Mexicans out numbered the rest of the children,i been thru that,I will never forget that junk..needless to say it cost me quite a lot of money just to get the crap-lice out of my house and off me and my kids and take her out of school and move...yea that cost me..not just in taxes.....i want my money back for one, for that,and the list goes on...the bill is rising along the way..it stops now.Wal-Mart is catering to the hispanics and the mexicans now, I thought i was in Mexico the other day, i went to Wal-Mart and I thought i had to take a spanish class just so i could read the labels on the food (at Wal-Mart)that is not good.You can watch them and their kids...they get something to eat and drink down one of the ilse and by the time they get to the checkout...its free..they have already had lunch and dinner..hummmm then you can find the empty packages all around the store shoved up on the shelves...who did it...I know who did it, does it matter? Will they do something about it? answer is NO...they do nothing about it...its allowed..shoplifting is allowed...lying with them is allowed..using their kids to shoplift is overlooked...no id...oh well...dont do that again I have heard...next time I will do something...sure you will...Next time...see my point...its a crazy vicious confused circle.It's NOT OK.... ill-legal alien...who ever you are , where ever your from, its not ok..People are past tired of you...real real tired..now your pushing your luck.I will Vote for the Person that I believe will put a end to it., the Ill-legal Aliens---whoever you are where ever your from..

Yup. We need to do all we can to help those trying todo it the right way, and everything we can to stop those coming here illegally.
