Or better yet:
1- Accuse mexico of sponsoring invaders/terrorists.
2- Invade Mexico to "liberate" its people and "rebuild" the country
3- Spend another $500 billion (and add that to the 10 trillion debt record too?)
Oooooops! Mexico does not have petroleum... Oh! forget about it, just deport everybody and add costs to the 10 trillion debt...very good idea professor veritas...you are truly a truthful and inspiring person...your students are certainly getting the best America has to offer...
Mexico does not have petroleum???? Jose...do you live under a rock??? petroleum is Mexico's biggest export, right before people and drugs

Find the people hiring them (not hard, just set up a camera outside a Home Depot). Seize their assets. Use those assets to pay to deport the illegals.
I like it! Good idea !

Do not provide public assistance to any illegal people. That will deter any making a run for the border and having their anchor babies. No legal status, no public assistance.

Give everyone a one year warning then enforce heavy, big, boocou fines for anyone who houses or employ's an undocumented immigrant. Double it everytime they get caught.

It will stop and most of them will leave.

Mexico DOES have oil, and is a very large output. It's the biggest National Revenue. The problem is the Government is so corrupt that none of it goes to the people in the country.
Illegals sending money back from USA is like 3rd or 4th highest revenue.
money sent back from the US is second. the numbers vary, from 25 billion to 65 billion, depending on which source you want to believe. and it only costs $6 to send money to mexico with western union. My Father sent my daughter $50 for her birthday and it cost him $20, from alaska to California. why the big difference? I think it should cost THEM more, not Americans.

Betsy,

Obviously Mexican government is feeling desperate. They don't want all their illegals back home.

The Mexican government and the Rich there don't want their poor. It's their 2 tier system: Rich and serfs society that will clash in Mexico. Esp after the illegals have had a taste of human rights and free benefits in America.

We the People paying for Mexico's crimes against the US have to continue to speak up and speak out.

Step 4b: Upon refusal of military service, deport immediately, and charge AND COLLECT the cost of deportation from the illegal's home country.
Step 5: Automatic arrest & maximum term imprisonment if found in the United States illegally again.
AMEN. THe bible says to love your neighbor as your self, It is not about loving the latinos, It is about not letting them take us over from the inside out. They are reeking havoc on our healthcare system, education system, judicial system, prison system. Pretty soon the blacks wont be the only minority. Soon the whites will be right there with them. The gov. says we have too many jobs to fill. If that is the case we should have 0 unemployment. Its just that they will work for way less , because 30 of them will share a house, a car. and there for they dont have to pay as much. Also mexicos criminals and perhaps terroist are crossing the borders too.

pretty soon our Trucking industry will be losing thousands of jobs of hard working americans who studied hard to get thier cdls and hazmats and dot regulations just to hand it over to Mexican Truckers who most can not speak english, read english, and do not have CDLS.The trucks most do not have insurance, nor pass us Dot regulations. Not only will US Truckers lose thier jobs, It will have a trickle down effect into the economy. Also it will put every driver of any vehicle in jeopardy of losing thier lives.Call and write the Gov. to put a stop to this travisty

I can only hope as they are deported they do "march for human rights" "dignity" and to "Take back the Land" in their own countries. Here, We the People, have an obligation to speak out. Our rights are being abused by those here illegally. We demand Our government enforce Our Laws :-)Did you get the blinking banner issue resolved, Odette?

PS Odette: I forgot to mention how angry it makes me to know our vets are not getting the attention and care they need. These are vets from the on going engagements & from the past. All DESERVE IMMEDIATE [sorry for yelling] attention and major Raises in benefits. How do we expect them to live on monies that would have been ok many, many years ago. Does Congress live in the past like that? Certainly not! oops... this is so much a part of the illegals getting services others deserve. Won't even go into the children of this nation having needs.[and i do not mean the new SCHIP give away to illegals vetoed]

Send their asses back to Mexico, and start working on the Americans that struggle to work to support their own families. Who should I say, have to struggle even harder day by day because of the amount of illegals we feel sorry for and hand out free services to left and right.

How are you going to enforce Step 4b. Let's say we deport someone to Mexico then tell them to pay up, and Mexico says no. Do we go to war?
I think you're forgetting the US doesn't have international jurisdiction.
Oh, so we just allow the Mexican government to have jurisdiction in the U.S.? I think not.
Remember what the trail boss on Rawhide TV show used to say...."Head em up and move em out."
Remember what the Mexican government stance is...
Where ever there is a Mexican citizen is - so is Mexico. Sounds like a threat to me. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.

We already have guest worker programs. We have paths to citizenship. The only thing we don't have enforcement of our laws.

We won't have to deport anyone. The illegals will self deport. Complying with the law is the best path to citizenship.

mexico is finally worried about mexicans, but in the wrong way.'what are we going to do with them'? they did give an diea that could work. if each city or town paid for deportation, and got reimbursed at years end, the problem would be fixed within three years. no need to round them up all at once, just deport any and every one found. give the local police authority to detain them. I'm sure that volunteers would show up in abundance to drive them back to wherever the came fro, or pay for their plane tickets.
no more welfare for them and the program would have no problems staying within budget. schools wouldn't be overcrowded and pertinent curriculum could be brought back.

Here's something completely different:

Issue each (Mexican) Immigrant a ONE YEAR immigrant license. For each annually issued license, the Mexican Government delivers one truck tanker load of Mexican Oil to pay for our expenses.

Here's another something completely different:

Send each (Mexican) Immigrant to Iraq to replace an American Soldier (bring the troops home).
After a four year tour of duty, the (Mexican) Immigrant Soldier will recieve honorable discharge and American Citizenship.

All you who vote "Path to Citizenship", illegal aliens already have this option available to them! They can return to their country of origin where they will be a legal citizen!! This Path to Citizenship is called I-5 to Tijuana, I-35 to Nuevo Laredo, Air China to China, Aer Lingus to Ireland, etc.

Once back home, some of them could even apply to re-enter the US legally!

Both are good ideas but I like the last one best.
