Illegals are uneducated;that's a fact. Their country kept them as such, therefore they will never grasp the fact they are being used.
Illegals believe they hit the jack-pot here in America.

Not all of them. I know few undocumented people and they all hold masters degrees in IT and that's in high demand in US right now.

OT~Arguing/debating the subject respectfully and as adults we are,I am for it. But, for those who choose to call one out of their name/with personal attack you most likely will get exactly what you give.
Most ppl do not accept this type of childish behavior, therefore I suggest those individuals refrain.

Tell them to go to India where the I.T. jobs are. There are plenty of I.T. people in the U.S. looking for jobs thanks to outsourcing and the number of I.T. workers that have immigrated to the U.S.
If you happen to actually know about any I.T. job openings let me know. I know plenty of people looking.

One would think immigration reform and legal status for undocumented workers would be in the best interest of the GOP since they are a big promoter entrepreneurial and small and big businesses and small Government to which they are a greater part of.

Dee, you will see people coming after me personally (dont exactly know who they are,but they are obsessed)and are wanting to silence those who oppose This Immigration Reform, our Government and their policies. They have this thought that all Hispanic should think alike and defend each other regardless if it wrong. They have this thought in their little heads that Big Government and living off welfare is their right. I will continue to change my name and come in less often. They will resort to personal attacks and using my name to post the opposite os what I think and believe.
They are just bad people.

If you can name the company and contacts I can pass the information along. I know several people who do consulting and would love to find a permanent full time position with benefits rather than contracting.
With the cost of living in NYC do they actually pay a decent salary that makes the commute/relocation worth while? I know of opening around the beltway but life in that area with under $100k a year income is poverty level as is life in NYC.

There are more than enough openings. Perhaps those you know are just not as qualified as others in their field. I live in NYC and many tech firms are understaffed, and outsource as a result.

I know one thing, computer programmer/engineering (or whatever that the title is) have a secure job. Although,I am not interested/don't really like it, there are jobs out there for such....Just ask my brother. Maybe I should of studied that as an extra.
But,To late now I've invested to much into my field to do that. Sad,but I don't think I will go back to school at this time.
But, hey! there is later if things get better.
I talk to my brother, but I really don't get into what he does. I know he travels and make good at what he does/works at. Our relationship is not about what he does, but I know he is making it.

Outsourcing has nothing to do with shortages of qualified people and everything to do with larger companies being able to push out smaller players with cheap off shore labor.
Working with off shore technical labor resources is part of my job. Actually it is not about only cheaper labor but cheaper business costs in general.

Since you did not provide any information on these jobs you said were available I have to assume that it was all BS. We keep hearing these stories about Americans not wanting the jobs illegal aliens do and about a shortage of qualified workers yet not one shred of evidence has been presented to back these stories up. We have the highest percentage of unemployed Americans since 1976. That is a fact and proof that we have no need to import more workers for any reason except to drive down wages and the quality of life for most Americans.
