Sorry attempt at complete BS Inbred. Southern manufacturers RECRUIT northern / Yankee workers to run their companies.

Why?

Because we work fast, are extremely competitive, and on average, have educxational skills that go beyond what you idiots have to offer.

As to restaurant's, the service people FLOCK to my table - they know WE tip, on average 20%- not like you YoYo's!

Get a grip on reality bubba. Why do you think TO THIS DAY the majority of aerospace manufacturing is done in the North East?

Meanwhile, you guys get car assembly plants - or in the case of Boeing, a plane assembly plant - but you don't make shit down there! You crackers just put the pieces together, nothing more.

My next car factory, I'll hire you to run it. You brilliant Yankees continue to tell us how backwards we are, and how yall do things up north, and how we should listen to you because you are brilliant, and then you retire and move down here. Must suck to be a yankee. 11 months of winter must not be all that great. Why in Hot springs Arkansas, we sell water to you brilliant Yankees.

No ...Competition creates innovation.
We created a competition that was rigged. Seeing US corporations gain at the expense of the nation...
Passing off the nation as not relevant in business decisions.
Your taxes prove you are wed to state as well as corporation.
Thus letting one gain at the expense of the other is wise?
In what way?
Semantics.
The technology that we created, and then shared created direct competition, and,by that time we had higher salaries, pension plans, health insurance for retirees and unions to support.
Suddenly any American made product had 10-20% additional charges in unsecured debt attached to them compared to foreign products.

Inbred Genius, Please don't think all us Yankees are as ignorant as this one! Although I was born and raised in Northern NJ, I've been trying to shake that place off all my life. My parents and I have both lived in the south (Fla,N.C. and Va.) and enjoyed it very much. New yorkers (And to a lesser extant, Bennies from north Jersey) Love to disparage anyone living south of them. We "Pineys" got the same treatment in south Jersey. They have never been out of that city atmosphere. A day's ride north to the Adirondacs might change their minds that all ignorance is to the south. Some of the worst conditions that define a "Hillbilly" are to be found there. People living in Trailers, Cars up on blocks in the front yards. You get the picture. Disregard him! I've lived in the south and I'd rather live there than anywhere else.

i am living the sweet life that 50% of the world can't even dream about cuz they can't even imagine such ease of living...

Sure they do. one of the reasons why MN has so many fortune 500 companies here, even with our higher levels of taxation, is our great quality of life, our good schools and talented workforce.

you can go for high numbers, we will go for high quality.

What nonsense. Let me give you an example. My friend owns and operates a small metal fabrication company. He had a few employees and a shop with all the equipment needed to make metal products. His typical customer was a big company wanting prototypes prior to mass production. It was a decent business and it provided for him and his family for a long time.

Recently he went to the local grocery store and saw some cooking pots for sale. He examined them and noticed they were of good quality materials, and the workmanship was good. He saw the price and the made in China sticker. The retail price was lower than his cost for the raw materials to make the pots.

That means if his employees worked for free, his electricity to run the equipment was free, he didn't have to pay for any employee benefits, he didn't have any taxes, he had no investment in the equipment and building; he still could not compete.

The reason is that we have a free trade agreement with China, and they manipulate their currency. Our government knows this and pays companies to move their production facilities to China.

One way to stop this is to place tariffs on products coming from nations who manipulate their currency. Currency manipulation is stealing from us; pure and simple. It is up to our government to stop it. When they pass policies to encourage it, we are being robbed and we need to throw out the politicians who intentionally steal from us.

we got lots of obamas people here, that might be why we are so low on the list, or, it might be a subterfuge, to trick yankees into not coming around here. you would have cockroaches, cept their eggs freeze in winter and never hatch. We got snakes and spiders too...it's common to check your shoes before putting them on around here, to make sure something didnt crawl into them at night before you stick your foots in there.
