Your money? The private sector IS THE ONLY PLACE revenue is generated, certainly not be the inept gubmint. It exists BECAUSE of the private sector, not the other way around. You have been on the dole too long. You surely are joking.
This is so typical of the LIV. They think that the private sector is out to get them so they refuse to work for "the man" who represses them. Instead they sit at home living off the government teat. They want to tax "the man" so that the government can give them more and they want millions more like minded people to invade this country and join them in their “struggle”. They are going to change this country, right after they finish their beer and go visit their baby momma. Than God they only come out every four years to vote. If they remember and don't have anything else to do that day.

Correct. I can't believe this country has slid this far this fast. It only took a couple of generations to do it. Remember the song by Styx, "blue collar man". It was shameful to be in the unemployment line. Even more shameful to be on assistance, now it's what the 47%er's strive for. Sickening.

Sure you did. Inherited most likely. You don't have the intestinal fortitude to earn your living. You are on the dole and have been for some time. You can admit it, your ilk is proud to have the 53%er's carrying the load for you. Why do you condone slavery, woody?

people who do not make much money do not pay federal income tax. the lower 47% of earners in the US pay no income tax at all, they may get withholding from their pay, but with deductions and such things as earned income credit, they get back what they payed in, if not more.

so veterans, teachers, fireman, any one with a low enough income to deductions ration will not pay FIT.

How does being a vet equate to low income?

Maybe in the sticks you guys don't pay cops and teachers much, but in the NE- with some experience- a married couple in those jobs are part of Obama's "millionaires and billionaires"

what part of salary vs deductions don't you get?

an average teacher with a couple kids would most likely not have to pay FIT.

a private in the army most defintely would be in that pay scale, even without kids...

The rich need our help! "Only Little People Pay Taxes: Why a janitor ends up with a higher tax rate than a millionaire." The superrich don't pay as much as they used to—and thanks to a combination of tax cuts and preferential tax policies; their tax obligations are far less demanding than the so-called little people's. In fact, the very wealthiest Americans' tax burden has been steadily dropping for years, even as they've enjoyed astounding income growth not seen by the vast majority of Americans.
Tax rates for the wealthy have fallen substantially since they peaked in the 1940s. During the past 30 years, they have been cut at a much faster rate than middle- and low-income taxpayers'. Much of the money "earned" by the super rich is paid under along-term capital gains tax, which is considerably less than any high income tax bracket. That's what makes Mitt Romney's tax rate so low, along with offshore bank accounts and other tax evasion schemes that can be perfectly legal.

1) Nonsense, not in any of the burbs I've lived in. 100K teachers with MA and 10 years are not uncommon, admins 250K easy.. Cops? A sargent is 150K.

2) You said "vet", not a buck private on active duty.
