CNN's Lou Dobbs, a lightning rod for criticism following his transition from a business journalist to an opinionated anchor on such issues as illegal immigration, told viewers on Wednesday that he was quitting his nightly show to pursue new opportunities.

Lou is better off without CNN.

I agree. I think he gave up a career he loved for something he loved even more: HIS FAMILY AND THEIR SAFETY.

I hope they get the bastards who shot at him. I wouldn't be surprised if they were illegal aliens or pro-illegal alien supporters, probably Mexicans. Of all the illegal alien groups, the Mexicans seem to be the most militant. They don't lay low like all the other illegal alien nationalities. So, odds are they are Mexicans.

Dobbs has a huge following. This will not be good for CNN. They deserve it for being a weak news agency.
