Some facts for you.
There is no "child" in a uterus. If there was one, it would drown. Children are born, and can only breathe air.
Murder is an illegal term for an illegal act of killing. Any killing that is illegal cannot be called murder. Abortion kills the embryo/fetus, but it is legal. As you cannot HAVE killing that is legal and illegal at the same time, abortion is not murder.
I have had an abortion.
I work with pregnant and laboring women.
I volunteer with an organization that provides goods, services and education to pregnant and mothering teens.
I give to charities that help women and their children.
I have continued all three of my pregnancies, raising three amazing kids.
I have step-children and foster children who all still, even as adults, call me Mom.
I have 6 grandchildren.
There is no hatred there.
And none of this melodramatic nonsense from you refutes what I said.
Those are your facts for today.
Now what?
Ok, had to reply to this one...now you say you have had an abortion? You've been denying that the whole time.
Secondly, you're saying any killing that is "illegal" cannot be called murder? Or am I reading that wrong? Just asking, so no need to get nasty.

No, that was a mistake, I didn't proof read properly. I have never had an abortion.

Not nasty dear, just don't take crap from anyone. It's called standing up for yourself and your beliefs. You ought to try it sometime. Oh, and yes, a fetus is a human being. Did you think it was a goat forming in the womb? The DNA is that of a human being. One more thing, abortion IS killing.

You're welcome. I also said illegal once where I meant legal. I was distracted while typing.

Only anti-choice extremist IMBECILES believe such nonsense. I'm not surprised that THEY would agree.

Thank goodness I'm not one of them.

Feminist? You bet your ass.
Ditto. I'm a feminist and proud of it. Funny how many misogynist male idiots think "feminist" is a dirty word, isn't it?:-)

You women kill are left to kill your child and soul while the men have already bedded the next bunch of doormats.
Wake up girls.
WRONG, goofy, we have plenty of respect for ourselves, both as women and as citizens. We get to decide for ourselves when to have sex and when (or IF) to have children, and we DON'T allow misogynist guys like you to make those decisions FOR us.

Deal with it...or not. Either way, YOU don't make MY choices for me. Don't like it? Too bleeping bad.

Courts here recognize that women are people - rights accrue at birth, in America.
Next....
Not according to the medical profession. Life starts at conception. Only liberals think life starts at the age of three.

Funny how many women think it fitting an proper to kill an unborn child because they were too stupid to use protection. If you feminist think you are going to take over the world, you will have to start by being smarter than killing 25 million women that may have helped your cause.

You're an idiot. What is it you're trying to say here?

That the medical profession doesn't consider women to be people?

That they have ANY say on when civil rights accrue?

Is there some reason OTHER than idiocy that causes you to respond to a post with something that has nothing to DO with the post?

Oh, and by the way, no, the "medical profession" does NOT say "life begins at conception".

You want to know why? Because it's a branch of science, and science says that life began eons ago, and has been in continuum ever since.

The medical professionals don't USE the term conception, unless they are writing for lay people they know are incapable of understanding the proper terms. Since the word conceptions can be defined as fertilization, implantation, or BOTH, the "medical profession" knows that it's a useless term.

The MEDICAL PROFESSION knows that EMBRYOGENESIS occurs at fertilization, that PREGNANCY begins with implantation, and that LIFE was present even before that, with the sperm and ovum, the HAPLOID STAGE of human reproduction.

Get beyond your elementary school biology. It's simplistic, and geared toward children incapable of understanding real science.

What "women"?

There are no women in a uterus, Moron. Women are ADULTS.

Any adult still in uteri DESERVES to be evicted. It's about time they move out on their own.

The medical profession has come to no consensus as to when 'human life' begins - and neither has the SCPL. Some think 'fertilization'(which happens BEFORE conception) some think conception itself, and some think, as I do, that human life began around 65 thousand years ago.

It's a continuum - not an event.

As for starting at the age of three, I don't even know any liberals who believe that. But I do know that as far as YOU"RE concerned, life begins at conception, and ends at birth.

Not necessarily. It can also mean implantation, or both fertilization and implantation. So, it's a useless term for this debate. Better to use the term fertilization.

Not so - conception refers to the implantation of the fertilized ova. If it doesn't secure a place in the uterus, it is usually flushed away with menstruation, although sometimes it gets stuck in a place it cannot gestate...like a fallopian tube. In any case, if the embryo does not attach, the woman has not conceived, and there is no pregnancy.

Maybe Men should face jail time, and a hefty fine, for not using condoms in unwanted pregnancies? I'm sure you would be game for that, wouldn't you? You seem backwards enough to want this.
