When you allow any to stay it encourages criminals, the poor, the sick, the uneducated and everybody else to come. Deport them all and make them apply from their country for a visa.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., quipped that the Republican Party “is like an orchestra,” with many members contributing meaningfully to the debate.

“It’s not just soloists. We have different points of views,” she said.“As we strengthen the borders, which we must,

I hope that we can also look at the 11 million who want to legalize their status and contribute in a big way to the greatness of this country because they’re patriots too.”

Illegal aliens are "patriots"?

Florida voters need to vote her out the next election!

The House is right to take a step by step approach. The Senate and the President, with their arbitrary time limits, are rushing this thing way too much. Rushing this law is the enemy of transparency. The rush is designed to pass legislation before people can see what's in it. It's obvious that the Senate and the President are wrong about this law and also wrong to be rushing it through. Honesty, integrity and transparency are all missing in the Senate bill. Remember all who voted for this travesty in the next election.

"the biggest mistake of his presidency was signing the l986 amnesty"-Ronald Reagan.

Even Reagan had to wait for the congress to pass a bill into law before he could sign it.

No. Spy, that quote is attributed to Ed Meese, the guy involved in the Wedtech scandal. Reagan never said that.
