With more than 11 million illegal immigrants residing in this country, we know the 1986 immigration "fix" did not work.

Since 80 to 90% of illegal immigration involves our 4 southern neighboring countries in North America, a solution MUST absolutely involve their interests as well as that of the US. All countries in North America (Canada, US, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama) should be working towards lowering free trade barriers, allowing free movement of all citizens in North America, and more economic integration. All these things are naturally happening, but US immigration laws are a MASSIVE barrier due to special interests or racism. Spending $18,000,000,000 dollars a year to find, arrest, take to trial, then deport our neighbors doesn't make any sense for anyone. Lower taxes and allow free movement of people in the North America zone!

Not a North American Union that eliminates the USA, all countries would have more mutual respect and it would lower many barriers. NAFTA and CAFTA actually increased economic trade for all, but yes it needs to be re-examined because the US started dumping subsidized goods at cheaper prices into Mexico and drove their farmers out of business which ultimately moved to the US. We need a economic powerhouse to be as strong as China, which by the way stole many more jobs when they entered the WTO. We need to lower barriers, lower taxes, increase small businesses, and decrease government's entitlement and subsidized programs--welfare, section 8, farming support, etc that add to the problem.

just wait, obama is pushing for an agreement if he did not already push it like nafta with korea and other places .the same things will come as did with the last foolish agreement.the best thing for us would be get out of nafta.it effects the working class in a bad way while pushing the rich higher up making 2 classes of people the rich and the poor. the loss of the middle class is what happened.forget all global nonsense and fix local letting the rest take care of themselves.we was doing alot better before nafta kicked in.

i just cannot understand anyone thinks nafta has done anything other than cause problems and bring us down to new levels.

maybe they are too young and do not remember how things were going before and fall for the nonsense told by gov.

even with legal immigrants we do not do as the rules state such as not letting anyone in to be a public charge, now we bring folks in set them up and support them as if they were our under age kids instead of them being self supporting as it was meant to be.

the poem on the statue of liberty does not say come here and we will support you, breastfeeding leaches in not on it.

Issa has absolutely got the right ideas. Now how to convince pro-illegal immigration advocacy of the best way to fix the broken system. Everything he mentioned has been debated over and over again. Enforcement is the problem. No matter what decisions are made, if we don't have the personnel to enforce these new laws, we will be back in the mess we're in today. Millions of people living off the backs of American tax-payers. Which is unsustainable. Living as the underclass for millions is morally wrong. Perpetuating this underclass is un American and should stop. Getting rid of millions that are draining our Country is the hard part and one, Law makers need to work on even more than changing the laws.

Deport or execute all of the Illegal aliens, enforce all of the laws, and secure the borders with lethal military force is the cure.No amnesty,no pity.

Blanket deportation is the solution, don't allow them to send their children to school. Pick them up off the street like they do in Japan and the UK. We can do it. Right now we have a weak government.

U.S. born white workers represented only 18% of the farm worker population.

Only one in six young U.S. born white farm workers worked in harvest jobs, compared to one-half of young Mexican workers. Additionally, fewer young white farm workers planned to continue doing farm work as a long-term career; only one in four (27%) said that they would stay in farm work for more than five years. A larger proportion of young Mexican farm workers (50%) intended to remain in farm work for more than five years.

Election bump over, Obama approval drops to 43 percent:

Reuters/IPSOS poll

Reuters – 3 hrs ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters)- Less than two months into his second term, President Barack Obama's approval rating has dropped and Americans blame him and his fellow Democrats almost as much as his Republican opponents for a fiscal mess.
A Reuters/Ipsos online poll released on Wednesday showed 43 percent of people approve of Obama's handling of his job, down 7 percentage points from February 19.
Most of that steep drop came in the week to February 26 when it was becoming clear that Washington was going to be unable to put aside partisan differences and agree to halt automatic budget cuts which started last Friday.
Confounding the White House's efforts to blame Republicans for the cuts, most respondents in the online survey hold both Democrats and Republicans responsible.
Obama shot out of the gate in January at the start of his second four years in the White House, promising gun control and immigration legislation as well as efforts to tackle climate change and expand gay rights.

TSA Sealed $50-Million Sequester-Eve Deal to Buy New Uniforms

March 5, 2013

( CNSNews.com )- The impending sequester did not prevent the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) from acting in late February to seal a $50-million deal to purchase new uniforms for its agents--uniforms that will be partly manufactured in Mexico.

Soon after this new investment in TSA uniforms, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano warned Americans that the lines are already lengthening at airports due to the sequester.

"We are already seeing the effect on the ports of entry, the big airports for example," Napolitano told Politico on Monday. "Some of them had very long lines this weekend."

"Look people, I don't mean to scare, I mean to inform," Napolitiano said."If you're traveling, get to the airport earlier than you otherwise would. There's only so much we can do with personnel and please don't yell at the customs officers, the TSA officers. They aren't responsible for sequester."

$253.5B—Obama Borrowed Nearly 6x as Much in February as Sequester Cuts All Year

March 4, 2013

( CNSNews.com )- During the month of February--as President Barack Obama was warning Americans they would see dramatic effects in their lives if “sequestration” of some planned federal spending kicked in--the federal government’s debt climbed by $253.5 billion.

That one-month increase in the debt was nearly six times as much as the $44 billion in spending cuts the Congressional Budget Office estimates will take place in all of fiscal 2013 as a result of sequestration.

At the close of business on Jan. 31, 2013, the federal debt was $16,433,791,850,294.04, according to the U.S. Treasury. At the close of business on Feb. 28, 2013, the federal debt was $16,687,289,180,215.37. Thus, the federal debt increased $253,497,329,921.33 during the month.

You are right and your figures prove it! Illegal aliens have been forcing American workers out of jobs and decreasing wages for all workers and it needs to stop. The only solution is to enforce the laws and reform immigration so that illegal aliens can be deported in a faster and more efficient way. It should take no more than one week from arrest to deportation especially for those illegal aliens who entered the country illegally.

Bill & Hillary, a lovely couple, got about $12 million
for their to-be written memoirs. Here's some help for them since their
memories are getting old. Bill & Hillary, 1970

BILL CLINTON'S MILITARY CAREER

Bill Clinton registers for the draft on September 08,
1964, accepting all contractual conditions of

registering for the draft. Selective Service Number is
326 46 228.

Bill Clinton classified 2-S on November 17, 1964.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on March 20, 1968.

Bill Clinton ordered to report for induction on July 28,
1969.

Bill Clinton refuses to report and is not inducted into
the military.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-D after enlisting in the
United States Army Reserves on August 07, 1969, under authority of COL.
E. Holmes.

Clinton signs enlistment papers and takes oath of
enlistment.

Bill Clinton fails to report to his duty station at the
University of Arkansas ROTC, September 1969.

Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on October 30, 1969, as
enlistment with Army Reserves is revoked by Colonel E. Holmes and Clinton
now AWOL and subject to arrest under Public Law 90-40 (2)(a)-
registrant who has failed to report...remain liable for induction.

Bill Clinton's birth date lottery number is 311, drawn
December 1, 1969, but anyone who has already been ordered to report for
induction is INELIGIBLE!

Bill Clinton runs for Congress (1974), while a fugitive
from justice under Public Law 90-40.

Bill Clinton runs for Arkansas Attorney General (1976),
while a fugitive from justice.

Bill Clinton receives pardon on January 21, 1977, from
President Carter.

Bill Clinton becomes the FIRST PARDONED FEDERAL FELON
ever to serve as President of the United States .

All these facts come from Freedom of Information
requests, public laws, and various books that have been published, and
have not been refuted by Clinton .

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, President
Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and
punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia , which killed
five U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia ,
which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised
that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa , which
killed 224 and injured 5,000, Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17
and injured 39 U.S. sailors, Clinton promised that those responsible be
hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated
3,000 people in New York and Washington , DC , who are now dead would be
alive today.

THINK ABOUT IT! It is a strange turn of events. Hillary
gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million
for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who spent 8 years
being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath.
