Wow, a person doesn't have to be clairvoyant to figure out that the Obamacare rollout is a disaster.
I don't get my insurance for free from my employer, joyous as that would make me, they subsidize and my monthly contribution is $148 for medical and dental, it's rolled into my total compensation package, base salary + benefits, that's how corporate America works. So, because I don't want to be taxed IN ADDITION to that, it makes me a selfish pig? How about that fact that I don't want for the government to take out more from my paycheck than the 24% they already do? If it were up to liberals, folks would work and the pay would go directly to the fed government to be funneled directly to layabouts and welfare cheats, with just enough left to get me a tank of gas to get me to work for another 2 weeks.
I guess that would be ok, as long as no one is held accountable for their actions.
Wow you have a shitty job. You have to contribute $148 a month for a GROUP plan? A lot of people have to contribute to their plan, but I have never ever heard of anybody contributing that much for a group plan. Do you work at Walmart?

The rest of your email about your taxes going up was just bullshit.

Where did you pull that out of?

Of course the Koch brothers would not go to meetings with the riff raff. Do you seriously think they would want to be seen with you? They do fund it and steer you though.

They might be steering you but they hold no sway over me. I don't trust many of those rat Republicans that suddenly saw the light and now identify themselves as born again conservatives. That ploy is just a maneuver they think will get them reelected.

Nobody will lose their job? Have you ever used E-Verify? Do you know how it works?
Of course people lose their jobs. That is the whole point of the program you are championing.
The Government Accounting Office estimates that 770,000 American workers would lose their jobs due to database errors if E-Verify was mandatory. Last year it is estimated that 80,000 Americans unfairly lost their jobs due to database errors and your solution is to make it mandatory and increase that number by a factor of 22.
Reading comprehension problem? I said no one would lose their job if they can prove that their SS number belongs to them. Why wouldn't they be able to do that? An employee would be given ample to time clear any discrepancies up. I note you don't provide a link to your claims either. You're just grasping at straws trying to demonize e-verify because you're an illegal alien sympathizer.

The inspection process at Ellis Island was not nearly as difficult as people make it out to be. There were a total of 23 questions and doctors were allotted six seconds to conduct an examination. The entire process took between two hours and five hours and more than 98% of people were allowed to enter. Others were sent to a quarantine area for a couple of day observation if they appeared to be sick. Nobody was monitored after entry.
It has been said that if past immigrants had to go through the processes in place now then 90% of immigrants would have never come here.
Conversely if we built welcome centers at the border and told people there was a 98% chance that they could immigrant legally within two hours it is unlikely that many people would enter illegally.
Yes that is true . They would come in droves . Like a flock of locust. Devouring everything in sight . This is why me have a border and armed border guards and laws against it . if you told them 50 percent could enter legally you would still get them . And job loss and welfare, and crime would be extremely out of control. It would be an invasion. Mexico would speed up the dumping of their unwanted here . Clueless.

Proof please !!!!! To people 80,000 Americans losing their jobs to E-verify. They give you time to fix the error its a trip to DES with the correct paper work you should have anyway . IE, birth certificate . I'm sure you have one . Duh!!!!! If your a good worker they don't want to lose you . Especially if you have been with the company for years . I f you lose your job you then have to find a company that does not take E-verify . I'm sure it would be shady ."Do you really want to work for a shady company that can hire illegals because, I can grant you wont make a very good wage with them around. Clueless!!!!!!!!You want the Gov to have your correct info so you can get your benefits when you retire .

Yes and there are enormous backlogs now resolving thing. I am sure you would be fine going without a paycheck for months while the SSA gets to your case, but some people would have a problem with it. Since E-Verify has a 50% error rate when it comes to "no match" letters.

This is bases on the current 7 million records that are checked. When this is increased to 154 million records with far fewer staff to handle the workload the delays will last months. I bet even you would be bitching about not being paid for months due to a clerical error.

That is good that you get your insurance from your employer. Most people do, but it also shows what a selfish pig you are. You get something for free, yet you have nothing but contempt for people who pay thousands of dollars for the same thing.
Most people have to work hard for their company insurance plan, and pay some of it . unless you work really hard for the company . If your paying thousands of dollars for health insurance . You don't nee it just pay the bills with the thousands you have . We can tell you don't have insurance , or even a clue of which you speak.

Funny !!!!!! I did have a problem years old with it . Trip to DES solved in like ten mins no waiting . Your acting like the person has never had an ss# Or its their first job . In which case they would still be living with mom and dad . Yes they can wait a few months for a pay check. The Gov wants people to work and pay tax so they will fix it fast . This is how disaffected you are by the economy. When was the last time you worked?$148 isn't a lot for medical and dental family plan, in fact, the company I work for offers some of the best plans out there. I have a PPO, not HMO. I work in the financial sector, not retail. And about the taxes, your denying that payroll taxes impact take home pay, and they are slated to rise again soon, is denial at its finest. Again, you must either be retired, or never have been gainfully employed.

Indeed I do, along with participating in the stock purchase plan. None of that has anything to do with the high state and federal taxes I pay every 2 weeks. I honestly think that the sticker shock of the managed care plan hasn't hit yet, and when it does, folks are going to be squawking about it.

It is a complex situation and clearly nobody likes it. Unfortunately everybody digs in. There are so many small changes that can be made to the law that would help a lot, but people refuse to even discuss them.
It is interesting that you mention that many people would prefer to be in their own countries. That is one of the things about legalization that many people do not understand. The first thing somebody does if they are able to obtain legal status is they immediately leave the country. A lot of these people have not been home in many years. Many never come back.
We frequently hear people say they should all go home and come back legally. Nobody would disagree with that, but many people do not realize that the US imposes very stiff penalties on any illegal immigrant who tries to leave the US.
It is crazy. If a person is in the US illegally and voluntarily decides to go home and get legal the US imposes a penalty that bans them from even seeking a visa for ten years.
So they have a choice. If they lay low and stay out of trouble they can probably stay here illegally forever, but if they try to go back they suffer severe penalties and can not return for a long time.
To make matters worse, if they do stay here and get caught and forcibly deported the ten year bar does not apply to them. They can seek a visa immediately.
It does not provide much of an incentive to leave on their own.
That is just one example of changes to the law that should not be controversial, but somehow nobody even talks about it.
So what your saying is once here our illegal hiring companies and crooked gov want to keep them here . Because if they go home they don't want them back. illegals sneak home all the time and come back . if they get caught and cant come back for ten years, they just sneak back in again . They want to bring their entire family here so they don't have to go back now multiply that by the 20million plus we have here now . If you broke the law and then years later admitted you broke the law , would you not still be punished ??? They always come back for the money they can earn . A lot of countries have duel citizenship. United States does not honor that .Your not supposed to have duel citizenship and be A United States citizen. But if another country wants you after you are a US citizen .What can we say????

I think most have not looked at it . and they look at it like welfare . also they d not want our Gov in charge of their health care so most ignore it for now but when they start handing out fines , its going to hit the fan . Families that have kids that need welfare are on access , or wic or some program and don't want this as they would have to pay and they are not stupid !!!! People are still going to use the ERs for their health care and never pay a bill. There wll be lots of extra money in the program the illegals will be happy to receive as benefits. But they need ID . Hence DR licenses being pasted out .

You are virtually incoherent but still I try to decipher your drivel.

This one was particular funny as you described your imaginary visit to DES. I assume you are referring to the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

Of course they have absolutely no connection to E-Verify and could not possibly help you with a "no match" letter. Maybe that is why your visit went so quickly.

By the way, do you have an E-Verify account? I am starting to get the idea that with all of these self proclaimed E-Verify "experts" on this board I am probably the only one who actually uses it. That is funny.
