He neglected to say that most of the illegals are on Food Stamps, Welfare, Medicaid. They are a drain on every taxpayer. But he doesn't mention that. Or all the crime they commit.

An IRS policy decision made 17 years ago resulted in the agency distributing billions of dollars in refundable tax credits to illegal immigrants — including $4.2 billion in 2010 alone — according to an oversight committee for the Treasury Department.

A 2011 report unearthed by CNS News notes that much of the funding for the Additional Child Tax Credit were linked to economic stimulus enacted into law by President Obama, though the genesis for such payouts came in 1996, when the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act was signed into law.

The so-called militarization of the border is not the reason this country is infested by 30 million bedbug-laden illegal aliens. They stopped going back to Mexico because when they stayed in the US they got free medical care, welfare, food stamps and educations for their anchor bastards. These people are LEECHES. When will the"experts" recognize this????

It's obvious this know it all knows nothing... He needs too get out of his bubble and take a look. I laugh every time I hear they're not coming anymore... They're everywhere, we probably have 25 million Mexicans alone, not to mention millions of Asians and other's. There are more illegals in Utah, than in anytime in History. You cannot rely on comment's by a person that obviously doesn't know anything.Controlling the Sovereignty of the u.S. isn't militarizing it. It's protecting the Citizens of this Country. Another Liberal hack.

Not all ILLEGAL immigrants are another nation's 'tired, poor and hungry' they are CRIMINALS just like a US citizen criminal.

Many ILLEGAL immigrants or even 'legal immigrants are nothing but a front for the criminal organization back home or a scam they are currently running in the US.

How do "legal" immigrants earn enough money to own multiple properties and homes, fund HUGE families, drive expensive vehicles without degrees, certifications, licenses or their own business. Don't give me this crap work 10 jobs 20 hours a day crap either.

That's easy, our government gives them start-up business grants.

And addiction follows.

It also irks me on these visa workers/hires. Many of these "skilled" immigrants supposedly trained in areas Americans aren't also have a government sponsored education from their country of origin. So their entire career is based on the premise someone else payed for it. I heard in many European countries you basically get an associates degree or jr college paid for at least. Others things like health care are paid which takes pressure of these immigrants and allows them to become so called specialists. I've heard stories of countries sending their citizens here for grad school with living and tuition paid for by their country and/or US.

But the words 'tired' and 'poor' are over used and abused.

The tired and poo are now Americans, thanks to our idiot politicians, who care more about their pockets and those who have no business sneaking into this country.

He admits that illegal immigration has slowed but claims it's because of better wages and a more robust economy in Mexico. Well just maybe it's because of better boarder security. And I tend to lean towards more boarder security. Now gather up the illegals in hiding and send them back to their more robust and higher wage earning economy, they should be very happy with that. Not so sure I trust this article.

Dear Mexican: Just suppose that all of the southwestern United States had remained in Mexican hands. Would the Mexicans have done any better with it than they have with the present confines of Mexico?

—Reversible Reconquista?

Dear Gabacho: The gran parlor game! If we turn back the clock and changed a couple of things—if Austin, Houston and their fellow invading gabachos actually became Mexican citizens respecting the rule of the land instead of merely pretending to become so, if Mexico hadn't suffered the theft of its lands or nearly gone bankrupt spending so much money in battling its ravenous neighbor to the north—would Mexico have been better off? The easy answer is sí—more land in a country generally means more possibilities for development, and California's 1849 Gold Rush (which truly made the American Southwest the mecca it became for Americans) would've happened on Mexican soil, meaning Mexico would've been the beneficiary of all those prospecting migrants and subsequent worldwide attention. Not having Texas secede from Mexico would've also hastened the demise of Antonio López de Santa Anna: Sure, his embarrassing defeat at the manos of the Texians forced him out of office, but he returned again and again. Santa Anna's megalomania, left unchecked, would've inspired a true coup instead of many temporary ones. And with no neocolonial ties left—with no debts to any European powers due to fighting so many wars, with no appropriating of natural resources and lands by American industrialists taking advantage of a weak country and with the United States itself weaker due to the lack of a Southwest and all of its subsequent treasures—Mexico would've been in a much stronger position to enter the Industrial Revolution and emerge a better, reformed land. Of course, it's just a parlor game, just like Arizona Senator John McCain blaming illegal Mexicans for starting devastating forest fires with no hard proof—except ours is responsible and fun, while his is just pendejo.

This is why I laugh at these boards. There are many valid reasons to oppose immigration, legal or otherwise, but nobody ever mentions these. Instead they just repeat the same made up stuff. If you can't make your case without lying then you really do not have a case.

You smug piece of shit. Read the post about the we t back in PA who killed two mothers, one pregnant, while driving drunk leaving two children without mothers. This happens EVERY DAY in this country, but you don't want to see it because you want to feel good about yourself with your knee jerk liberal bleeding heart respect for all people. Illegal aliens, every single one, are criminals, leeches and parasites. You deserve brain cancer.

You have a hard time staying on topic don't you? I love that about these forums. When somebody has no response they feign outrage and change the topic. How silly.

Hey you want to pull up random stories out of a population of millions? It is pointless, but very easy.

Here is a story about a drugged-up US citizen crashing his cement truck into a school bus. I am sure you will be just as upset to read the Honduran bus driver was killed. That leaves five kids without a father. As a bonus a 64 year old bus attendant had his hip broken and a little kid received permanent facial scarring and a detached lip

http://www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/DA/New...

So who do we blame for this accident? Using your logic we clearly have to attack a whole group of people for the offenses of one person. The driver was a US citizen, but had an Irish name. The truck was owned by an Italian guy. Should we be condemning all US citizens because of this? Or just those with Irish or Italian sounding names?

We have laws, and we need to follow those laws, How true. What part of illegal in illegal alien don't some people understand.

I see people holding up signs that say keep our families together. If they want to stay together Then they need to go with that member when they get deported.

Fact, All the Americans that are victim's Of crime done by a an Illegal alien is a victim that wouldn't have happen if that illegal was in their home country where they belong.
