You're not a taxpayer... remember? You're retired and mooch off the government dole just like those stinky illegal aliens and their anchor babies you hate so much.

Most of your comments really bring together your hypocrisy, arrogance and ignorance into a nutshell.

I hate to burst your bubble but looking at the writing on the wall... they're not illegal aliens no more, they're future American Citizens.

Now I'd like to know... what part of that do you not understand? Did you think you can hide behind that "they're illegal" to disseminate your hate for a group of people..... forever?

ROLF!!!!

So what will you hate on when they all become legal? You gonna go back to hating on Blacks or Muslims? Maybe those people who put red dots on their foreheads?

You see... with a bigot like you, there will always be somebody for you to hate on and you will be the first to use any instance to warrant your hate.

Shame on you.

To be honest with you, it's not about hate, never was. Our economy is suffering, jobs have been outsourced to other countries and citizens are losing what jobs there are due to the EPA , ObamaCare and illegal immigration among other things. The economy is in a fragile state right now and the jobs are needed by those who are unemployed and are obligated/forced to pay State/Federal taxes in order to sustain the welfare states and keep our Economy from falling any further.Americans need jobs, not welfare.
Illegal immigration is a huge problem. They are taking jobs and at the same time receive welfare, child tax credit,etc.. That is not fare to the taxpayers. They receive much more taxpayer funded services then what they put into the system and this is unsustainable. If all the Dreamers and fam. become citizens it will become a bigger problem for our economy then it is now. More will collect welfare(due to no job growth)and this will lead us into a REAL fiscal Cliff.

What I said about statistics may appear to be "nonsense" to an unintelligent/uneducated individual such as yourself, but it won't be nonsense to someone with a decent college education that includes a reasonably strong background in math and science.

For me to try and explain even the basics of statistics to someone like you is analogous to a neurosurgeon trying to teach a the intricacies of the spinal system to a bunch of primitive tribesmen from New Guinea.

No matter what the doctor does, the tribesmen will think he's talking nonsense because they simply don't have the ability to comprehend something so far above them. Just as you think that which you are unable to comprehend is "nonsense."

Frankly, from what I've seen from you so far, I would probably have a better shot at teaching statistical basics to the tribesmen than you.

No effect at all. Unless of course you consider losing Florida Colorado, Nevada and Virginia to be a problem.

It was a good thing for Romney that Puerto Rico is not allowed to vote in American elections or else he would have lost that territory too due to his anti-Hispanic rhetoric

Stop speaking on NYM8487's behalf. Speak on your own.... I say, you're both in the same, because you both hate. You just might be a little better at hiding it, which isn't saying much, and immigration is not so big an issue like you and your horde make it sound.

Along with your hate there's surely alarmism. You're like the kid that cried wolf. Your outcries just don't have that same punch.

I was merely explaining the concept of polling to the other poster.

I'm surrounded by uneducated idiots...
do you know the difference from legal immigrant and illegal immigrant? You have a knack for confusing the legality of the individuals entering into our country.
I do not think people are opposed to immigrants. It is the illegal ones that we have cause to pause. Do not confuse me with those that see color, you included. Thx in advance.

<quoted text>there is absolutely nothing scientific about choosing the people you call for a survey and even if every race is represented evenly in a poll, there's still no possible way in hell that 1,004 people speak for well over 300,000,000 americans, even congressmen laugh at these stupid polls.
i agree with you with the minor exception of the congressmen. Depending on the agenda even our congress will use polls if they support them. 1,000, 2,000 even 5,000 people in a poll does not speak for others especially concerning hot topics that concern us all, nationwide.

<quoted text>I am not a bigot,I just want this country to enforce its illegal alien laws just like Mexico does Everytime they capture a south American and send them back as if that 3rd world country needs to protect its southern border the way this country should, there will be no amnesty so deal with it.
Mexico jails our people for long periods of time without due process before they send them back to us. And when they do they are malnourished with significant weight loss. This congress wants a North American Union. It was put in place during the Clinton Administration when he approved and passed NAFTA . It may lead back to daddy Bush. One thing for sure, the Reagan Administration did this country no favors with the amnesty he passed through from congress. Obama is making executive decisions where illegal aliens and amnesty are concerned. It's wrong and misuse of executive power, IMHO.

You clearly have never taken a course on statistics..
I'm not going to give you a college level statistics course here, but suffice it to say that relatively small samples (numbers of data points) CAN be used to accurately predict the behavior of larger populations- that can apply to voting, shopping habits, modeling groundwater data, or any of thousands of other applications used daily in business, politics and science.
That's not to say that the polling agency can't screw it up, but if they do it correctly, they will usually be pretty close (within the confidence level).
BTW, when congressmen laugh at polls, it's usually bluster and political gamesmanship- almost none of them has more than the vaguest notion of the mathematics used in statistical polling. Frankly, I doubt if more than a handful of our congress critters has ever taken a college level statistics course (most are lawyers, and lawyers don't learn a lot of math)- and even for those who did, it was decades ago.
Gotta disagree with ya on this one. Take this past election. Polls were claiming kit would be a close race. They also claimed that Mitt Romney took a few of the swing states. the election was over rather early in the evening IMO. Which kinda negates your college 101 statistics class. I am sure though in other areas and aspects of life, that college statistical class is spot on. But when it comes down to laws and human nature, I do not think any poll can speak for all involved. It why we put certain things on the ballot. Then of course we have the crybabies who will then file a lawsuit with the courts which in turn overturn the outcome of the votes. This country has seen its better days.

They do not seem to care. It doesn't matter how many times you say or even shout you are supportive of legal immigration. They still will not hear you because they don't want to. If they did, then they would have to deal with the illegal issues of "that" immigrant.

You lost all credibility for objectivity a with this post of yours. Get a clue, not everyone is going to have the same opinion or view as you do.it simply does not make that person stupid or uneducated as you are inferring . Difference of opinions is what has advanced us as a country. Being college educated as you are, surely you would know that.
