But you are wrong, everyone on the jury expresses frustration with the instructions as it left them no choice but to acquit GZ - quoting one of the jurors "George Zimmerman got away with murder"!

The judge saying it, and the written OFFICIAL FORMAL INSTRUCTIONS are both completely different. Only "Self-Defense" is in the argument.
Here is the link again Skippy, all 27 pages. Cite the page/paragraph that state Stand Your Ground Law. I CHALLENGE YOU!
Good luck with that. LMAO! Fcuking idiot.

Here is the actual provision (jury instruction) read to Florida juries prior to the legislature's enactment of Stand Your Ground.

"The defendant cannot justify the use of force likely to cause death or great bodily harm unless he used every reasonable means within his power and consistent with his own safety to avoid the danger before resorting to that force. The fact that the defendant was wrongfully attacked cannot justify his use of force likely to cause death or great bodily harm if by retreating he could have avoided the need to use that force."

The same provision after SYG enacted by the Florida Legislature in 2005 changed to:

“A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.”

No..he got away at worse for being stupid. With an arrogant hoodie wearing jit who thought he was immortal. Another stupidity event in human history. This type of stuff could have been reduced big time in our enlightened era if we pushed responsibility. So in this case, mom is a few hundred miles away with a good government job while dad is with someone else and a good government job. Both spending the taxpayers money first and worrying about the kid second. Not blaming them, but they did not try hard enough.

Zimmerman did not use Florida's stand your ground law in his defense, although the law required the judge to cite it in her instructions to the jury which left the jury no choice but to acquit GZ. Had not been for the wild-west law of “stand your ground” GZ would have been convicted!
The jurors are saying and so are many legal experts that the number one reason for the not guilty verdict was that the prosecution did not prove it's case. Many legal experts beleive it was because of adding manslaughter so late in the game- the jury felt that the prosecution was desperate. In out system the prosecution must prove guilt - the defendant does not not prove innocence. Just ask OJ about his murder trial.

The same juror also said this:

(From the LA Times)

She said she doubted that the case should have been brought to trial, calling it a “publicity stunt.” But once it was, she said, the lack of evidence and Florida law left the jury no choice but to acquit.

Of course that doesn't fit the narrative and will be ignored.......

What a crock.
I'm sure the instructions couldn't have been ANY clearer what was expected from the jurors, considering the political pressure and where it came from.
With almost 2 years of the MSM convicting Zimmerman through the media,Sharpton,Jackson and the great and powerful Oblamer himself running interference, they made OJ's dream team look like tinker toys.
Top that off with Holder dedicating unknown amounts of tax payer dollars and resources through the DOJ in support of Martin and forming anti Zimmerman rallies.
They installed like minded state law enforcement, went judge shopping and hand picked appointed prosecuters.
Could the prosecution have had the odds stacked in their favor any more?
Its a miracle they didn't hang Zimmerman right in the court room.

<quoted text>If that is true, if she really believes he "murdered" trayvon the it was her responsibility to convince the other jurors and convict him. Since she didn't, she, she AND ONLY SHE, is responsible for freeing him.

Actually I think what you have here is a person who now fears for her own life for being part of the jury and what's to run away from it as fast as she can.
My thoughts exactly.

<quoted text>I agree with your first paragraph. She was a wimp and caved in to the other jurors.

If she feared for her life she never would have come forward and shown her face on national tv. Seems more like she's got a guilty conscience and is looking for absolution.
She needs the money. She gets paid to go on the shows. Her name would have been released anyway. Why not go on tv and make some money. Just makes sure you tell everybody you thought he was guilty so the racist morons don't post your address everywhere.

Exactly. It didn't help Mr. Zimmerman in the end, though. His life is basically ruined by this all of this.

"Speaking before the National Urban League Friday, Fulton said that her son was no longer alive because of "a law that has prevented the person who shot and killed my son to be held accountable, and to pay for this awful crime." DUH, the stand your ground law wasn't even used in Zims defense. Bloody hell what a willfully ignorant woman. She should be held accountable for being a negligent parent.

The facts are Zimmerman had no business or authority to stalk, harass or shoot a black kid. The facts are the forensic evidence and ME's reports do not support Zimmerman's statement to the police claiming that Martin jumped him, knocked him to the ground, punched him the face "20 or 30 times", and slammed his head against the concrete repeatedly. The facts are Zimmerman's clothes didn't have any mud, dirt, or debris on them and the EMT reports says Zimmerman had a minor scratch on his nose and a small cut on the back of his head with only minor superficial bleeding. The facts don't support Zimmerman's ridiculous claim of self-defense against a black kid with no history of aggressive or violent behavior. The facts are Zimmerman had an extensive history of aggressive and violent behavior involving attacking women and cops plus court ordered anger management classes.

The FBI is still investigating Zimmerman and hasn't cleared him of anything.

The case is open and ongoing, bubba....

You just don't get it. Florida is such an azzbackwards State that they deemed it OK to stalk Black people kill them and them get away with it by claiming self defense.

Every black person should arm themselves and be the one claiming self defense.

When even your own jurors are saying the defendent 'got away with it,' there's not much more you can say in his defense. Most Americans were disgusted by the verdict and the fact there's a dead kid and no one held responsible.

And now there are hints that Zimmerman's vaunted 'saved a family from a wrecked car' good deed was fraudulent..

Here's a hint for you.

ALL the jurors found Zimmerman not guilty.

That's all anyone needs to say in his defense.
