The democrats did nothing for immigration reform while they had full control of the government. Nothing.

If you clowns remember about a year ago our ag and ohbama sent out a message stating come to America WE WILL take care of you. Now that message was heard LOUD and CLEAR.
Every illegal alien that heard that message started putting away money and making plans to come to America. Now YOU will pay for that message FOREVER.
The ACLU is suing America on behalf of the illegal aliens now. The bumbling and fumbling president and ag are incompetent and should be fired and jailed for their crimes against America and Americans.
IMPEACH ohbama and fire holder PERIOD!.

The question is not why are they here, the question is why do we ignore illegal immigration. Yes, in this case, there is a law for these children but it was meant to slow down deportation, not eliminate it.
I don't believe that the issue is ignored it just plays to the base so well to say "no ... never" It gives the democrats a layup on the issue all they have to do to get 90% of the latino vote is say look.. they are s mean nd point to the GOP opponent... who just may be mean...If you try other approaches you just might make Obama more security conscious... you got a perfect display of overwhelmed border security... all you gotta do is not f*ck it up by being mean... or by allowing the democrats to pin that on you... The GOP could look diplomatic, tempered and able ...instead of the cast of 'Animal House'

The answer is the USA has a large 'ethnic' minority that identifies with the immigrants. Both political parties (let's exclude the Tea Party on this issue) would like to get the support of the group to get or hold political power. As important is the real power in the USA, business. Business likes the profits based on the spending of the group. You can't blame them for that ...
Yea, I know you don't like the answer because it doesn't directly support the hate of Obama, but it does tap the dynamic of political decisions.
This has noting to do with hating Obama, it has to do with leadership ignoring immigration laws. I agree with you. I despise ignoring our laws for pure, unadulterated political gain - by either party.( let's not exclude radical progressive liberals on this issue)

Neither party gets very good grades on the issue.
So with both having blame for the problem the issue is how do we put politics aside and do something positive...

So the President creates a mess, and Congress cleans it up?

Is that how it works now?

One scandal bigger than the next to erase the previous scandal seems to be the trend now.
