1 I am not trying to downplay your sincerity or your convictions, but I do think that you will be voting for him in the fall. He's doing what politicians must do. Politicians must reach for as many voters as possible. He talks about this being the party of Lincoln. He wants to get elected. You know this. How better to get elected than to reach out to voters? His base is expanding, he's not worrying. |

1 You got that right, never liked him, liked him less when he got in the same room with kennedy and laraza and not a single viewpoint against illegal immigration was said during that clusterf**k Amnesty bill last year, And that he started talking secure borders, at the same time 2 of his major players are OPEN BORDERS advocates and he's keynote speaker at la raza convention next month. |

1 Do you honestly think it is morally correct to reward those that have broken our laws and ignored our nations sovereignity while many LEGAL IMMIGRANTS respect and follow our Immigration laws....breaking the law should never have rewards....it should have consequences....what would you propose next....instead of suspending the drivers licenses of people that regularly speed, should we reward them with faster cars??The people that don't support McCain believe in the rule of law....those that do support McCain also support law breakers...and LaRaza is the biggest, racist bigoted group in America today! |

1 It used to be but Lincoln is rolling in his grave right now. Lincoln believed in a sovereign and united states while McCain wants to eliminate the USA in favor of the North American Union. |

1 I detest the Amnesty Hound. I swore I wouldn't vote for him when he became the presumptive nominee. THEN along came Obama. The more I found out about him, the more I started to come back to McCain. Then, last week, McCain reminded me why I hate him when he brought up Shamnesty again. He's not going to secure the borders, he's a liar. So, Obama or no Obama, I won't be voting for a President this year. I'll stick to State and Local elections to, hopefully, be able to conduct some damage control to whomever is the President, because it really don't matter, we are screwed. And for those that want to berate me for not voting, stick it. I have always voted principle over party, and always will, and any BS about it bores me. People voting straight party lines is what's got things so messed up now. Watch a couple of days of Congress on CSPAN to see what I mean. |

1 Excellent post! McAmesty does NOT get my vote, I will write in Ron Paul. My convictions are NOT FOR SALE. Both of the major parties have grown as one, the difference.. is repubs now support privatization of the military and repeatedly giving contracts to the power houses, Halliburton, KRB, IAP ad nauseam when they deserved no repeated contracts..google them see how they failed thier contracts.. both sides of Congress FAILED to stop that! Also both sides have people running for President that are One World Order folks that think nothing of our sovereignty as a nation. The E voting machines are a true sign this election is nothing. The fact the media is OWNED and is controlling the news...is yet another sign of a government out of control.. let us mention PROFITS of gas companies.. and the attempt to bankrupt hard working American families while also burdening us with the cost of illegals collecting medicare, section 8 housing, WIC and so much more, our USDA building expensive housing for "migrant farm workers" while our returning wounded warriors and their families HAVE nothing like what is being built for the Migrant farm workers.. with on site primary medical care at the centers of those places.. We The People had better wake up fast! Neither party represents us. They spin word games, they pander to illegals and their anchor babies, they allowed the banking, morgage crisis, and now TAX the American workers to bail out the corportations that pandered to Congress to allow them to make those loans, and hello, many of them went to illegals. Want links? I have them! |

1 I agree, but i dont think we area totally screwed. Whoever is elected is going to have a fight trying to shove amnesty. Remember, they can be elected, but they also be "recalled". Just like the amnesty bill of last year and a few weeks back, if people voice their concern, like we have been doing , i think they have NO CHOICE to listen |

1 I hope you are right. However, if the democrats get a fillibuster proof Senate, WHICH IS A POSSIBILITY, then it won't matter how many people call in. The Republican Senate has been the only thing that has kept these Amnesties from going through. The Democrats don't care how much we holler. They think that we are all too stupid to know what's good for us, but they do. I'm sorry, but I'm VERY sure Shamnesty will pass if the Senate is Dem controlled. It will happen. And even if the House ratio stays the same, it is ALREADY top heavy with Dems and the House will pass it too. Then, with Obama OR McCain, it's "Shamnesty Time". No, I stand by my assessment, we are screwed. No sense in trying to fool ourselves. We need to get serious about it and get out and campaign for GOP candidates that have a hard line on Illegal Immigration. Thinking our phone calls is all we need will bite us in the buttocks. |

1 Listen, I don't know what McCain is going to say or how he is going to reach out. Also, do you think it is morally sound to reward or not crack down on American and American businesses that hire illegal labor. Of course you don't. Give the guy a break until you hear what has to say. |

1 Last call in blitz, the dems also took note and a few changed their votes. The dems are thick in the head, but not as stupid as you may think. They know a outright slap in the face to the peeople who helped elected them wont be good in so many ways. I have friends and neighbors who are dems and are who in no way, shape or form in support of amnesty. AFter 8 years of bush, myself a lifelong republican cant even think of voting for mccain. 1 I think, 2 cents, obama is too radical for most people. I dont think most people want to pay for others people health insurance or any other of his major standing points. But ol' gwb has put a real sour taste in peoples mouth because he's done more to tank the country than anyone else and people are looking for CHANGE.They will look for it, vote him in on IT but than after he starts opening his mouth, the people will realize they really dont want everything he's pushing and call their reps. I Think you might underestomate the power of masses of people calling their democratic reps and bitching. Or Should i say, i hope you underestimate or its going to be a long 4 years. |

1 He can't distance himself from Bush because his voting record is very similar to Bush. Why be dishonest? Why is dishonesty infecting the Republican Party? Are you a true moral conservative? |

1 The Party of Lincoln is pro-industry, pro-tariff, pro-American system. The Republican Party did a 180. You guys seem to forget on what started up the Republican Party, opposition to the exploitation of cheap foreign labor. |
|
The Libertarian Party is the party of open borders and unfettered free trade. You should vote for McCain if you like cheap foreign labor cause its what the Libertarian Party is all about, and legalized drugs. |
|
Again another person who opposes exploitation of cheap foreign labor and yet will vote for a Libertarian. What is this world coming to? For godsakes will you people please EDUMUCATE YOURSELVES ON WHO YOU ARE VOTING FOR?! |
