He was speaking to the choir and saying things he thinks people want to hear.

It is doubtful anything he says will amount to much good for the country.

He loves to campaign and hear himself speak.

Though he often distances himself from the real issues that come up, claiming he wasn't informed.

of course he's pleased after he made sen. reid kill any chance of the border security amendment passing in the amnesty bill. our pRESIDENT is very pleased his comrades in the senate are toeing his line. karl marx would be proud of the US prized boy blunder.

he is pleased to talk about anything to divert attention from benghazi, IRS, snooping on reporters, snooping on americans. his credibility and ability to get anything done is shot.

It was a mistake when Reagan did it, and it will be a mistake if BO pushes it through. The last one was supposed to be the last, and look at what it got us...a steady influx of illiterate, unskilled workers and an incredible amount of dependency and fraud.
