It's not immigration it's grunt's, stealing, fraudulent intruder's that sneak around like cockroaches in the dark taking all they can. Don't get your definitions confused. Immigration are legal people who come through the front door invited.

If the gov't charge $5,000.00 per family the National debt will be sliced in hundreds of billions.
Most off the illegals are here already and all they need is too come out and invest in real estate and other business.
We hope both parties will see the bills passed soon before the Presidents term is over in the next 4 years. Immigration has been the toughest Bill every Presidents have tried to resolve.

Pay $1000 dollars for every each year being here illegal, and $500 dollars plus processing fees for visa to work, and will get legal to work to provide for the family, instead of uncle Sam.

I know illegals who would be willing to pay not $5000 but $15000 to get their papers. And those people have learned the language, have worked hard and have never got any welfare or unemployment.

haha i cant believe how ignorant people can be. since day one, when an inmigrant arrive he start improving our economy by buying goods, all those sold goods generated profits for american companies. At the same time the state tax every purchase, so that inmigrant help your state economy. welfare? Are you reading what you wrote? Welfare is a benefit that can be used only by citizens, one of the requirements is o have a valid SSN, so juanito cant walking with his homemade SSN and apply for it without being arrested and deported. Since day one i worked two jobs, and i never asked for help. Today, nine years later, i am the owner of two companies with 29 fulltime employees. if i can do that without a SSN you should be able to do more with a SSN than written .... comments.

Illegal Aliens Receive Billions in IRS Tax Benefits

Friday, 23 Sep 2011 05:17 PM

By James Walsh

On July 7, 2011, the U.S. Department of Treasury's inspector general for tax administration issued a startling report entitled "Individuals Who Are Not Authorized to Work in the United States Were Paid $4.2 Billion in Refundable Credits."

No wonder the nation's finances are in turmoil.

******It is clear that unauthorized aliens are filing ITIN tax returns with fraudulent data.******

The Treasury report found that "One common type of fraudulent refund involves taxpayers fabricating a Wage and Tax Statement (Form W-2) that shows excess withholding and results in a tax refund."

And you're part of the problem, you should have turn their ass into Immigration, instead of whining about how great they are!

The inscription at the base of the Statute of Liberty concludes, "I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" It says nothing about welcoming people who bypass our entry doors by climbing walls, swimming rivers and sneaking under border fences.

Enough said!!

I think that most of people usually doesn't know much about immigration law, including non-immigrant law (working visa types). Nowadays it's an extremely difficult process either way unless you marry a citizen. I myself is a non-immigrant wanting to be immigrant but the extreme process makes it almost impossible (and costs a lot !). The unrealistic process for those who want to stay legal makes it easier to fall into the path of illegal immigration.

And for those who thinks that illegal immigrants don't pay tax, you must know that they can and they do as long as they have SSN(it was provided until recent years if you enter country legally) or government provided tax ID (which you can get).

I wouldn't say that the illegal immigrants are alright, but many people are good people with good intention, and I think they should receive better chance and process to prove themselves. I think people shouldn't forget that U.S. is made by immigrants from all over the world.

For those American born citizens who believe that they are entitled to call themselves Americans, should know that their ancestors were immigrants who were given the chances to prove themselves and therefore you are here. So the question is how to make the process more realistic for those who wants to contribute to the country.

I hope that government will soon come up with a good reform for illegal immigrants to prove their worth(as apparently they are very much part of U.S. economy already and necessary workers), pay penalty, and openly contribute the society. I also hope they will make the non-immigrant worker law and path to the LPR(green card) process more realistic to prevent good hard working people to fall into the path of illegal immigration.

Then they really can toughen up the law for those illegals who have criminal background, who take the advantage of systems, and who are not contributing to the society.

NOT SELLING CITIZENSHIP,if illegal immigrants are criminals of some form, criminals must pay their FINES and fair share ,NO AMNESTY,give them visa to work to provide for their families, they have roots over here, not uncle Sam to provide for their families plus pay taxes to uncle Sam,let them unleash their economic peformance damm sure it will help uncle Sam in some form.
